T. Belman. WTF. What is going on here? Many people reporting on this refer to Powell’s aggressive claims which may not be supported by the evidence. Tucker Carlson started the ball rolling when he demanded that Powell produce the evidence. I dismissed him because I trusted Powell and believed that a lawyer has the right to keep her cards close to her vest and only divulge the evidence to the court. This recent announcement seems to suggest that Carlson was on to something.
On the other hand I watched a video in which Lin Wood was asked if he saw Powell’s evidence and he said he did and fully supported her. I can’t remember which video this was in.
Finally many of the reports I have watched from others make the same claims regarding their analysis of the electronic dated which confirms all kinds of hanky panky with the votes. Also, there are different reports that point the finger at Dominion and/or the software. The anomalies are too numerous and too significant to ignore. They testify to fraud whether it is ballot stuffing or electronic in nature. It is alledged by some that Trump’s lawyers are not alledging fraud. Ignore them. Fraud is a major part of the cases they are bringing with or without Powell. I do admit that Powell went overboard on some of her claims such as suggesting that certain officials were on the take.
Bottom line for me is that Biden couldn’t have won without fraud. I stand by that.

The legal team for President Donald Trump distanced itself from Sidney Powell Sunday evening, announcing that she has no official role with the campaign or the president himself.
The announcement came from former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis, both of whom have represented the Trump campaign in its lawsuits attempting to overturn election results in several swing states.
“Sidney Powell is practicing law on her own. She is not a member of the Trump Legal Team. She is also not a lawyer for the president in his personal capacity,” the statement from Giuliani said.
The announcement from Trump’s legal team comes after Powell appeared with Giuliani and Ellis at several press conferences and in court. She had also appeared on television multiple times in recent days to echo the president’s claims of massive voter fraud, though she, along with the rest of Trump’s legal team, has declined to provide any evidence of such. Trump himself also said that Powell was a part of his legal team in a Nov. 14 tweet.
Though Powell appeared on cable news almost daily, she has faced widespread criticism over her allegations. She has alleged that electronic voting systems switched millions of votes to President-elect Joe Biden, a claim which drew criticism from Fox News’ Tucker Carlson.
“She never sent us any evidence, despite a lot of requests, polite requests,” Carlson said Thursday. “She never demonstrated that a single actual vote was moved illegitimately by software from one candidate to another. Not one.”
Powell also alleged that Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, both Republicans, were involved in a conspiracy with the state’s electronic voting system that swung the state in Biden’s favor.
“Georgia’s probably the first state I’m gonna blow up,” Powell said Saturday night on Newsmax TV, calling the Trump team’s lawsuits “biblical.”
“Mr. Kemp and the secretary of state need to go with it because they’re in on the Dominion scam,” she added, referring to a false claim that Dominion Voting Systems, which ran Georgia’s electronic voting system, deleted millions of Trump votes nationwide.
In a statement to CBS News Sunday night, Powell said that “understands” the Trump team’s press release, and will continue to stand for those who had their “voters for Trump and other Republicans stolen by massive fraud.”
Retired Gen. Michael Flynn, Powell’s former client, tweeted Sunday that Powell “has been suspended from Twitter for 12 hours. She understands the WH press release & agrees with it.”
“She is staying the course to prove the massive deliberate election fraud that robbed #WeThePeople of our votes for President Trump & other Republican candidates,” Flynn added.

I think that this announcement has a lot to do with the fact that Powell said that there were Republican politicians in on the take, and that THIS was their reason to distance themselves. After all they couldn’t have been closer. The Trump legal team including Powell was appearing all over the place and she was introduced as a member. Trump himself said she was.
Perhaps the Republican hierarchy don’t want to antagonise the corrupt Repub politicians, who have their own supporters, and by extension much of the moderate Rep ublican faction.., to the extent that Powell would. Maybe they are also on good terms with Dems , and the Repub’s path to co-operation when needed…do they are politically useful..???
Anyway, I’ve posted enough reasons for the surprising announcement. I notice also that Giuliani said she is “not a personal attorney to the President. I think this was gratuiyous…as I don’t recall anywhere where her being a personal lawyer to the President came up…maybe in a passing comment , can’t recall. He was covering all the dots.

Chris Christie is a nothing drunken sot, full of scandals on his back. Giuliani and Powell were saying just about the very same things, together at umpteen news conferences. Perhaps some of the top Repubs, as feeling that it’s too torrid for them. After all they are elected already and have their own followers, want to keep “hands across the aisle” in good shape for the future which will be long after Trump.
Powell is a top class lawyer with arm-long credentials, and she said; ” I never say anything I can’t prove”….which every lawyer, good or not would say. Going to court, it seems only common sense. Still, for publicity she could say things which she might not bring up or need to bring up, in court. It sounded very significant to me.
Carlson is anything but polite, and normally very abrasive. He takes himself more seriously than anyone on TV I’ve seen. His Wiki bio is full of situations like this. Why should a lawyer disclose anything to millions, before it gets into court, thus giving the opponent time to prepare a defence. Poor situation. However, we’ll have to wait and see. She said there would be massive filing next week, as did Giuliani.

I agree Ted that this is a major blow, and I for one have no desire anymore to read or listen to anything more on the subject. A couple of days ago the mayor and Powell appear together in a powerful press conference, completely on the same page in their passion and their pledges to make this right.
Now this? WTF is exactly the question. I have zero doubt that there was MAJOR fraud in a number of States, but with this new clusterf*ck, I’ll wait to see if it gets to SCOTUS before I pay anymore attention to what’s being said or written.
