Pres Trump should immediately start taking Hydroxychloroquine to get better and prove its efficacy

By Ted Belman

Rep. Andy Biggs urges President Trump, Melania Trump to take hydroxychloroquine to fight COVID-19

Doctors say he was treated with a single dose of Regeneron’s experimental antibody cocktail. Regeneron’s cocktail therapy is a mix of two highly potent antibodies against the coronavirus spike protein. It is currently being tested in clinical trials. Anthony Fauci, the top U.S. infectious-disease official, has referred to the medicines as a bridge to a vaccine for COVID-19.

The latest report. Trump’s physician says president is undergoing remdesivir treatment

This is Pres Trump’s chance to vindicate his earlier recommendation of hydroxychloroquine and to recover within days.

President Trump advocated its use in March of this year and even advised the world that he was using it.

As late as July 29/20 Trump defends disproved hydroxychloroquine again as COVID-19 cure

In a White House briefing, the US president defended his decision to promote a viral video of a group of doctors promoting the use of hydroxychloroquine, despite his own administration withdrawing emergency authorisation for its use against the coronavirus.

Despite scientific studies showing hydroxychloroquine can do more harm than good when used to treat coronavirus symptoms, Trump, who first touted the drug as a coronavirus cure in March, said he believed it worked “in the early stages.”

According to Dr Harvey Risch, The key to defeating COVID-19 already exists. We need to start using it

As professor of epidemiology at Yale School of Public Health, I have authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications and currently hold senior positions on the editorial boards of several leading journals. I am usually accustomed to advocating for positions within the mainstream of medicine, so have been flummoxed to find that, in the midst of a crisis, I am fighting for a treatment that the data fully support but which, for reasons having nothing to do with a correct understanding of the science, has been pushed to the sidelines. As a result, tens of thousands of patients with COVID-19 are dying unnecessarily. Fortunately, the situation can be reversed easily and quickly.

I am referring, of course, to the medication hydroxychloroquine. When this inexpensive oral medication is given very early in the course of illness, before the virus has had time to multiply beyond control, it has shown to be highly effective, especially when given in combination with the antibiotics azithromycin or doxycycline and the nutritional supplement zinc.

On May 27, I published an article in the American Journal of Epidemiology (AJE) entitled, “Early Outpatient Treatment of Symptomatic, High-Risk COVID-19 Patients that Should be Ramped-Up Immediately as Key to the Pandemic Crisis.” That article, published in the world’s leading epidemiology journal, analyzed five studies, demonstrating clear-cut and significant benefits to treated patients, plus other very large studies that showed the medication safety.

Physicians who have been using these medications in the face of widespread skepticism have been truly heroic. They have done what the science shows is best for their patients, often at great personal risk. I myself know of two doctors who have saved the lives of hundreds of patients with these medications, but are now fighting state medical boards to save their licenses and reputations. The cases against them are completely without scientific merit.

Dr Zelenko  Has 99.3% Survival Rate for COVID-19 Patients Urges America To Continue Reopening

He recommends the “Zelenko Protocol” be administered in the early stages.

Not only that but Studies show countries using hydroxychloroquine have far fewer COVID-19 deaths

By using this protocol, President Trump would not only recover in days but he will be doing a public a service by legitimating the use of this protocol.

I urge you to watch these videos.

  1. @ Reader:
Yes I know all about Bannon, he’s had a very varied and interesting life, so far. He was appointed in place of Manafort, but who do you think appointed him, and who dismissed Manafort….eh???. Trump did personally as I recall. They had a big ongoing argument. I don’t need Woodward, who stretches and exaggerates when he needs to. He and Bernstein made a “good pair”.

Actually just checking the facts I see that Kelly Ann Conway became the campaign manager and Bannon became the CEO of the campaign. It really must have been a massive organisation. I wasn’t aware of all the nuts and bolts.

I read that Trump was consulted about every important move that was made during his campaign. And it’s sort of natural, he being the person that he is.

  2. @ Edgar G.:
You happen to be wrong if you think that Trump is in charge of his presidential campaign and of the people who run it, i.e., “his handlers”.
I think Ted Belman is right that Trump really screwed up the debate with Biden (aside from the fact that it appears to have degenerated into mudslinging).
I am reading Bob Woodward’s 2018 book “Fear: Trump in the White House” (based on the actual docs and interviews) – you’d be surprised how closely Steve Bannon managed Trump’s 1st campaign for president and what was involved in it.

  3. @ Reader:
That’s part of election to and fro boloney. I’m surprised that you don’t know this. On Trump’s part it is NOT baloney; he really believes it and have very good cause to.

Why would his “handlers”. be concerned….?? Do they know better how to run the country or an election than he does. I don’t think they are “handlers” but subordinates.

How long do you think they’d be around if Trump thought they were interfering with his actions.?? He takes advice when he feels it’s neccessary.

  4. @ Ted Belman:
Yes the art and science of medicine is best left with those who have put years of study and work into it. Those who clearly know most about it.

  5. @ Bear Klein:
True, because the doctors in charge had their own preferences. These included the use of Zinc.
Dr Risch says the main thing is that he was treated early.

We never took the position that nothing else works.

  6. Trump is looking better and feeling better, thanks to the cutting edge medical treatment he received which was not based on hydroxy……………..

  7. @ Edgar G.:
“gain sympathy” I haven’t thought of that one.
I thought it came in kind of handy to avoid further debates and interviews (more foot-in-mouth opportunities).

  8. @ Adam Dalgliesh:

I suppose you saw today’s Arutz 7 where the doctors announced that Trump is feeling so much better that he may leave hospital tomorrow, Monday…..
Also conspiracy theorists saying he never had it, and he was trying to gain sympathy.

I suppose the group of doctors looking after him are really not doctors but politicians, part of his staff.

  9. @ efirub:

One part I don’t understand.. “for prophylaxis,(before the disease) the doctor recommends taking within 5 days”…..Within five days of WHAT….???

Perhaps it was translated from the Zulu language and this is a pardonable error.

  10. If you turn on the ZeroHedge site, you will be able to view a speech that Trump has just recorded while in Walter Reed. He says he is feeling better. He thanks everyone for their concern, expresses confidence that he will make a full recovery, and vows to continue to fight to eradicate the coronavirus from the world. He looks well and speaks very coherently. He is sitting at a desk, not in bed, and is fully clothed in a business suit.

The MSM is falsely reporting that he is desperately ill and close to death. How they wish. But it is a lie.

How shameful it is that one must go to a small alternative new site to find out what’s actually going on.

America is dying of hatred and lies. That is a truly fatal illness for a nation.

  11. Information on the treatment and prevention of Covid-19 infection

Not a panacea, but a significant slow down the likelihood of hospitalization, etc.
Protocol of Dr. Vladimir Zelenko (USA):
Hydroxychloroquine-200 mg. twice a day. (Not “Chloroquine”, which has serious side effects) Hydroxychloroquine at this dosage is very safe.
Zinc Sulphate-220 mg. (50 mg. Pure zinc) once daily.
Azithromycin-500 mg. Once a day. From a secondary bacterial infection. Take 5-7 days at the first symptoms of the disease. It is important (very) to take it at the very beginning of the disease. The earlier is the better. Up to 4, 5 days from the onset of symptoms. Further, this will no longer help or will help much less. According to Dr. Vladimir Zelenko this treatment significantly reduces the likelihood of hospitalization by 84% and fatal outcomes by five times. The entire treatment costs about $ 20. Hundreds of other doctors have received similar results. But information about this is being hushed up for various reasons, including what Trump said about it.
For prophylaxis (before the disease), the doctor recommends taking within five days:
Hydroxychloroquine-200 mg. once a day. Sold under the brand name Plaquenil.
Zinc Sulphate-220 mg. (50 mg. pure zinc) once a day.
After five days of use, take this combination once a week.
Hydroxychloroquine is a very safe drug, used for over 60 years, over a billion doses have been prescribed for malaria, lupus, and others with very rare side effects.
Dr. Vladimir Zelenko also believes that his protocol can be successfully used to prevent and treat influenza. The flu vaccine is often ineffective due to the constant mutation of the influenza virus and vaccines being developed cannot keep up with these mutations.

Prevention with natural supplements to strengthen the immune system:
Vit.D3 3,000-10,000 IU per day plus 15-20 minutes sun. The darker the skin of a person, the longer it is necessary to be in the sun. But everything must be done in moderation. High levels of Vit.D in the blood (50ng / mL and above) significantly reduce the likelihood of hospitalization and fatal outcome.
Simultaneously with Vit.D3, it is advisable to take Vit.K2 (90mcg per day).
Quercitin-500mg. 2-3 times a day (instead of Hydroxychloroquine) The addition of 1000mg.Vit.C (better Liposomal vit.C) enhances the effectiveness of Quercitin. Quercitin has problem with absorption in the body and should be replenished each day to be effective.
Hydroxychloroquine and Quercitin are the conductors of zinc ions into the cells of the body (ionophore). Zinc basically kills the virus, reducing its reproduction and spread. Hydroxychloroquine is probably more effective than Quercitin and has several mechanisms of action against the virus. Hydroxychloroquine also stay longer in the body.
EGCG-30 drops several times a day, 400mg. (green tea extract) is also an ionophore in addition to Quercitin.
Zinc – 25-50mg. (pure zinc) per day (Zinc Sulphate-22% Zn, Zinc Citrate-31% Zn,
Zinc Picolinate (20% Zn). Zinc should be taken separately from iron supplements.
25mg. for prevention and 50 mg. for treatment within 5-7 days.
    NAC (N-Acetyl-Cysteine) -600mg. 2 times a day or glutathione.
    Melatonin 2-10mg. before bedtime.
    Selenium-100-300 mcg. a day.
Vit.C-1000-3000 mg. a day or more. In case of illness, increase the dose. It is even better to take Vit.C intravenously in large doses (30,000 mg. and more.)

  12. Good Trump is being treated by medical doctors with the latest medical information and from not from commentators or bloggers.

  13. Sorry for the hasty comment. There’s so much trashy news and commentary nowadays, it starts to get old.

Nice comment on the press conference, Adam D.

  14. I’m getting tired of seeing so many amateur medical “experts” commenting about a patient they have no information about. If the patient were ME, I would have the right to sue you.

Does anyone here have any decency?

  15. A few hours ago Trump’s physicians at Walter Reed Hospital gave a press conference in which they said that the president was not having any trouble breathing, he does not need oxygen, that all his vital signs are normal, that his initial fevor has now gone down to normal, that he is walking under his own power, says he feels fine, and is getting a lot of work done at his office, with the assistance of his chief of staff. THey did report that Trump still feels “tired,” but has been authrized to work despite this by his medical team.

Google news has still not reported on the press conference or even mentioned that it has taken pace, hours later! Nor has it corrected its earlier reports that suggested that Trump was gravely ill.

I only found out about the Medical staff’s press briefing because I was able to watch it live on the “alternative news” site ZeroHedge, which I happened to be reading at the time. I have no idea whether any of the MSM stations have reported on the press conference, although there were a fair amount of journalists present. Perhaps some of Isapundit’s other readers could report to us about this.

  16. It seems clear that Trump’s personal physician is a Fauciite, and is taking advice from him that he passes on to Trump. I don’t know how this guy became Trump’s personal physician, but he is obviously not up to the job.

There have been several peer-reviewed articles by respected physicians in several countries that have found that hydrocloriquine , especially when combined with the Zelenko-recommended “cocktail” of zinc and arithromycin, is indeed effective in treating the illness. Several other physicians have
“pre-published” articles with similar findings that are currently awaiting peer review.

As far as I know no articles by physicians or other medical scientists have been published that conclude that remdesivir is an effective treatment for CV-2. NIAID, Dr. Fauci’s personal sub-agency, did sponsor an “international” study of remdesivir’s effectiveness in treating CV-2. Fauci’s agency published a press release asserting that the study demonstrated that remdesivir is effective in reducing the length of hospital stays of CV-2 patients, but admitted that it was “inconclusive” as to whether it was effective in curing the illness. Fauci repeated these claims in a press conference. But so far, as far as I know, that promised scientific article reporting on the study has still not been published, months after the study was made. I find this suspicious.

That is the last I have heard about the NIAID study. Perhaps Elsa, who is obviously better informed about medical matters than I am, will update us with more information about the NIAID remdesivir study, and correct anything that is incorrect in my post. Please do so, Elsa.

  17. I just heard from the person who wrote up the Whitepaper, Ed Sass, and he tells me, “I can tell you that some very smart physicians who understand HCQ, and its use in conjunction with other drugs against Covid, are in touch with the people in charge of the president’s care “.
    Good. That’s a start.

  18. HERE IS HORRIBLE NEWS I JUST GOT FROM JON RAPPOPORT:
CNN reports— “Trump had a fever Friday, a source said. He has received the unapproved experimental Regeneron treatment as well as the drug remdesivir, according to the President’s physician.” NOT GOOD NEWS.

Regeneron is an experimental antibody cocktail. Typically, when the news reports use of these drugs, no mention is made of negative effects or toxicity.

The Daily Mail reports: “[In an ongoing clinical trial of Regeneron] Two patients who got the antibody cocktail drug had side effects. One of them was ‘serious,’ though it’s not clear what exactly happened to that person.”

In tests of antibody drugs, serious problems have occurred. These are characterized as “increased infection.”

Drugs[dot]com discusses remdesivir: “[the drug] has not been approved to treat coronavirus or COVID-19. It is not yet known if remdesivir is an effective treatment for any condition. The FDA has authorized emergency use of remdesivir only in people with COVID-19 who are in a hospital. You must remain under the care of a doctor while receiving remdesivir.”

Adverse effects, according to Drugs[dot]com: “Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat…”

More adverse effects: “…chills, nausea, vomiting…increased sweating…a light-headed feeling, like you might pass out…abnormal liver function tests…anemia or decreased hemoglobin concentrations…acute kidney injury…”

And then we have this: “[remdesivir] is being investigated for and is currently available under an FDA emergency use authorization (EUA) for the treatment of severe COVID-19 in hospitalized patients.”

Trump doesn’t have “severe COVID-19.” So why is he being given remdesivir at all—especially given all the adverse effects of the drug?

Plus: NO ONE HAS EVER STUDIED THE EFFECTS OF COMBINING REGENERON AND REMDESIVIR—THE TWO DRUGS TRUMP IS TAKING. The doctors are playing god with the president’s life.

And now we come to the diagnostic test—Big question: how many cycles was Trump’s COVID test set for? I’ll explain.

Each cycle of the PCR test is a quantum leap in magnification of the test sample Trump provided. As every PCR tech knows, different labs use a different number of cycles when they perform the test. There is no uniform standard.

That is a giant scandal, because when you do the test using more than, say, 30 cycles, all sorts of irrelevant and inconsequential material shows up that can be counted as “positive for the coronavirus”—when that is NOT the case.

  19. Well, don’t you think he is taking it?
He was taking it regularly already. At least that’s what he said a few month ago.
