T. Belman. This is the first time I have heard mention of “Netanyhu’s Sovereignty Plan”. At the same time no mention in this article of the Trump Plan. Could it be that what is behind that is the desire to decouple the 30% “annexation” from the Trump Plan. Then no settler will be against it.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will likely work to implement his sovereignty plan during the summer months, spanning July, August, and September, according to a report by Israel Hayom.
According to the Israel Hayom report published Wednesday morning which cited unnamed Israeli officials, the Israeli government will not likely continue implementation of Netanyahu’s sovereignty plan after the summer, with the goal of applying Israeli law over roughly 30% of Judea and Samaria by sometime in September.
Under the coalition deal with Blue and White, Netanyahu is barred from introducing his sovereignty plan to the government and the Knesset before July 1st, giving him a roughly three-month window to introduce the bill and work for its passage by the ministerial committee for legislation and the Knesset plenum.
The government may implement the sovereignty plan in stages during the summer, beginning with the application of sovereignty over just 3% of Judea and Samaria.
Netanyahu’s sovereignty plan, which remains under wraps, is being drawn up in coordination with the Trump administration, with the aim of ensuring American recognition for the move.
A joint US-Israeli mapping team is working to draw up the precise borders for the application of sovereignty, which is expected to include most of the Jordan Valley and all of the Israeli towns in Judea and Samaria whose status has been normalized under Israeli law.
Questions remain, however, regarding 25 fledgling Israeli towns and hilltop outposts established over the past twenty years, with some reports suggesting the 25 communities and their several thousand residents will be left out of the sovereignty plan.
