According to a report on Kan Reshet Bet, senior officials in Blue and White acknowledge in internal talks that the party will have difficulty obtaining the majority needed to form a minority government that relies on the support of the Joint List.
The difficulty Blue and White Chair Benny Gantz is expected to encounter lies in opposition to the move from MKs Yoaz Hendel and Zvika Hauser of his party.
The two, reports Kan, are expected to face heavy pressure over the next few days to support the process.
Kan mentioned that Hendel and Hauser were the ones who halted Blue and White’s attempt after the previous elections to promote a plan for a minority government with outside support from the Joint List.
At the same time, a group of MKs in the party is trying to promote a unity government with Likud. According to sources in Blue and White, Gabi Ashkenazi supports the move for unity, along with MKs Orit Farkash Hacohen, Yoaz Hendel, Hili Tropper, Zvika Hauser, and others.

@Ted, Hendel & Hauser were not Likud MKs but big shots working for Bibi and many other impressive resume items. They are both quite accomplished! Check out their wikipedia pages.

So Yaalon told Hauser & Hendel to resign if they can not support a minority government. They can kick them out of the party but NOT the Knesset. So if they kick them out of the party they will stay as independents in Knesset. On most issues these two men see eye to eye with the right-wing. They ONLY do NOT like Bibi at all.
So if this occurs and they get kicked out of Blue/White then ONLY ONE MORE Knesset member would need to be found to give Likud a majority or at least voting support. This is why for the Knesset about to be voted in I do think it would stupid of the Blue/White to kick them out of the party. They might before the fourth elections assuming they occur but then B/W will lose votes of some right-wingers.
The more the Arab MKs from the Joint List talk publicly about more and more demands to Gantz the less likely this will happen. They are making it easier for Hauser and Hendel to stick to their guns refusing to agree to coalition based on a deal with the Arab Joint List.
If we get lucky somehow maybe Blue/White will bicker so much internally that enough of them leave and join the Likud in a right/wing government.
More than half of Gantz supporters oppose minority government
A public opinion poll indicated that over half of Gantz supporters oppose a coalition with the Joint List.
This is NOT surprising. Hopefully in the next election these voters will change their votes.
Unless something unforeseen occurs we will have a fourth election:

Looks like a fourth election will occur unless something foreseen occurs.
Seems like there will be a fourth election unless something unforeseen occurs!
From the March 8 Jerusalem Post: ”
Coalition talks begin Monday with Gantz-Liberman meeting
Gantz and Liberman are expected to decide to seek a minority government along with Labor-Gesher-Meretz that would be supported from outside the coalition by the Joint List.
