I am not impressed. She framed the conflict as an “Israeli-Palestinian” conflict when it is perfectly obvious to any observer that this is an Islamic war on the Jews. After all, Israel’s deadliest enemy is The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iranians’ protege, Hezbollah, in Lebanon. Turkey wants to gather an all-Islamic army to attack Israel. The Defense minister of Malaysia wanted to send Malaysian troops to Jerusalem! Any peace proposal which does not recognize the Islamic element in this conflict is doomed to fail.
Haley also spoke repeatedly of “the Palestinian people”. Eh, what? There was no “Palestinian people” before 1967. They are Arabs, almost all Moslems, living on the territory of British Mandate Palestine.
In 1948, the UN plan for dividing the territory into two states envisioned an Arab state and a Jewish state. There was no hint of a “Palestinian” people.
