Just what I was expecting when I wrote about it a day or so ago. The French are always first out in the streets and building barricades etc. I recall mentioning this feature particularly several weeks ago, when we were discussing the picture of the young bare breasted woman standing on top of a street barricade waving a tricolor..the Symbol of “Freedom” if you all recall. It’s always “a la lanterne, and a la barricades”…
There are numerous recorded instances for almost 500 years.
This, if it spreads, may cost Macron to step down….especially if there is serious bloodshed. Nothing is more likely to really inflame a mob and turn it into a revolution…
