On Wednesday, March 14, President Donald Trump decided to take the plan off his immediate agenda. There was no formal announcement. Trump briefed his special Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt to pass the word round among officials from the Middle East who were attending a conference at the White House on the Gaza Strip’s problems. Asked when Trump would revive the plan, Greenblatt replied: Not for a year or two.
The motives behind Trump’s decision, first revealed now on this site, are explained in their broad, regional context in the coming issue of DEBKA Weekly (for subscribers) out on Friday, March 16.

Israeli plan is overdue but Bibi is up to his neck in alligators so I do not expect much from him on a bold level. Especially since he is Mr. Status Quo. Knesset recessing until summer. So nothing will be annexed.
The Jordan option is the ONLY ONE. Let also the arab joint list and meretz anti- jewish party be included in that option.
