While I stand by my other comments on what I saw of Alex Jones’ “Info Wars”, I retract my ridicule of the allegation that China is trying to take over all 6 studios based on the following information I just stumbled upon. I confess it seemed absurd, to put it charitably*. This article also cites Wall Street Journal. It appears to be a real problem:

    I stopped totally in 2015, even the 3 air channels I got began to nauseate me because the lies were becoming far too obvious and arrogant – I jut know too much for my own good.

    I not only don’t miss it , I regard it as torture – not only is the content is mostly putrid and more and more cultural marxism, but you can’t watch 10 minutes without a station break and a political narrative being shoved down your throat.

    Remember the scene in clockwork orange when he was being “conditioned” and his eyes propped open forced to watch a screen ? That’s what it feels like to me now.

    Anything I want like entertainment I get from Asian films which I got enough of to be set for life. Not much Hollywood for me.

    I stopped watching TV about 30 years ago, the inanity of the vast majority of the shows got too much for me. It was like a foreign language w/matching behaviour. I resisted being “dumbed down”. I only watched boxing anyway, and maybe educational or political programmes-if I came across them. I prefer reading by far.
