From Hedgehog Report (John):
Online polls on who won the debate:
Trump by 2% by Fortune
Trump by 9% at Slate
Trump by 10% by The Hill
Trump by 11% by AOL
Trump by 14% by local NJ media
Trump by 21% by Time
Trump by 25% by Breitbart
These polls may be a reflection of the enthusism gap.

I hope and pray that you are right…
@ Vivarto:
Only in the eyes of the mass media circus did he lose. But he will be the President. The more dishonest the mass media the people will vote for him!
Pressure must be exercised on the last 2 moderators to force them to be honest!
Of course losing a debate does not mean that he is a worse candidate. It does mean that he is not as good as Clinton at debating.
Trump was on defensive. He defended himself desperately: like when he wanted to prove that he was against the Iraq war.
He was even more ineffective when defending himself from accusations about being a “birther”.
He could have just stated that the media has not exercised any investigative journalism about Obama.
That much about him appears suspicios, his former Indonesian citizenship, him being listed as Muslim in school, the fact that none of his supposed professors at Colombia remember him, no do his purported classmates.
His draft certificate, and yes, also his birth certificate.
That it has nothing to do with him being of supposed African descent. It wold have been the same if he was of Irish, or Italian, or French descent.
Publishing an edited copy of birth certificate online does not prove much. It does appears that Obama is hiding somthing, but not necessarily his place of birh.
He could have said that name-calling calling, e.g. calling someone a “birther” is a typical leftist strategy. It turns the conversation from the subject in question into personal attacks.
Interestingly enough, did she really raise the bar on preparedness? I don’t think so. I think Americans, especially those who are inclined to vote for Mr Trump understand that having facts and figures at your fingertips is part and parcel of being a professional politician. Nothing new there and I believe people understand innately that this isn’t what Trump is promising. His background is such that he not only has command of statistics but in putting the numbers to work on a massive scale. The next debate should be interesting. Then, again, it appears there may be photographic evidence

that, if true, documents that Clinton was wearing a diminutive earpiece with leads to a wireless receiver and was being fed with talking points and and statistics in real time. That she could handle this remote instruction so smoothly would mean that she is practiced in this art of deception, as well and, if true, does not take away from Donald Trump on this moot point. On the contrary.
Alan Rockman Said:
Wow, that’s fascinating.
I acknowledge that she won the debate.
I am very disappointed with Trump’s performance. I think he has not prepared himself well.
Now if I was a “Hillary supporter” I’d not be disappointed, I’d be happy with Trump’s poor performance.
So let’s be clear, I consider Hillary bad for America, bad for Israel, bad for the Western civilized world…
Still, she won the debate.
@ Vivarto:
You sound like a Hillary supporter. I am not, never have been, never will be…and ditto for the Soros-paid Democratic Party period.
Hillary has done nothing but watch Bill cavort with bimbos, then smear them. Everything she has tried to do is a failure just as she is. Heck, if she can’t walk away from a pervert, then how will she deal with Rouhani or Putin?
Trump will…it will be the carrot and the stick ala TR, something we desperately need in US Foreign Policy.
@ Vivarto:
Indeed she had 35 years to prepare herself, creating NO JOBS, allowing numerous Americans to be killed while DT was building, building, creating jobs etc.
@ Alan Rockman:
You are very optimistic. I am afraid that Clinton gained some votes from her performance.
It also appears to me that unlike Mrs. Clinton, Trump did not prepare himself very well. She very well prepared for the debate.
The moderator was totally one sided!
An elitist!
Honestly I am mixed whether he lost or not.
Granted, he should have been “smokin'” on issues like yours, like Benghazi, like the e-mails, and her flip-flop on Illegal aliens – not to mention the Iran deal – he hit her on that but not hard enough.
However two things. One as said above, she tried to make him out to be a deranged idiot. And he came across moderate – perhaps a bit too moderate – but moderate and trustworthy. She came across like an ass.
Two – the bitch has been doing this for 30 years. Trump has only recently done the debate thing – and I think he wanted to be a gentleman this time around. He got the measure of what a mongrel or a snake Hillary truly is – and he’ll be at her throat at the next one, mark my words.
She didn’t gain any ground and he either did or stayed with the momentum still going his way. THAT’S WHAT COUNTS.
Trump is the preferred candidate by FAR.
However the truth is that he LOST the debate, and he lost hands down.
He was on defensive, he was whining about Clinton not being nice.
Why did he not ask her how she managed to make 200,000,000 while in public office and running a non-profit?
Trump didn’t expect her to be the vicious cur dog we know she is; I think that next time you’ll hear quite a bit about Benghazi, the Iran Deal, and those e-mails. The kid gloves will be coming off.
She got very nasty which is who and what she is; he kept his cool for the most part, and enough for people to know who is more trustworthy and yes, even likable (she sure isn’t).
Having said all this though, he needs to be more specific and more upbeat and positive. Promote your vision of America under your leadership, Mister Trump – we know and we shudder to think of what a Cur Dog like her and an anti-Semitic sissy traitor like Kaine has in store for us.
Do that, Donald, and it’ll all be locked up – even in Pennsylvania and Virginia unless the majority of voters in this nation have gone full-blown mentally challenged and criminally stupid – which is who and what they are if they vote for Cur Dog Hillary.
She failed in her single most important task:
to prove that he was unhinged
Well put, Ronald
@ Ronald:
I would expect that those responding to a poll from Breitbart would favor Mr Trump.
But the spread of entity ‘communities’ of the other polls shows the very broad opinion that Mr Trump is the desired President of the people, as opposed to establishment media.
