Ted Belman is the Editor/Publisher of Israpundit and has been for 13 years.

Ted will start by highlighting the influences on Obama during his formative years and Rev Wright years.

He will explore Obama’s embrace of Islamists, both Sunni and Shia, at home and abroad, and his capitulation to the Mullahs and to Putin..

The havoc Obama caused in Libya, Egypt, Syria, Turkey and Iran will all be covered.

Of particular interest will be his failed attempts to force Israel to give the Arabs what they want and the reasons for his failure.

Finally Ted will speculate on the damage Obama could still do before the end of his presidency.

Ted made Aliya from Toronto in 2009 and currently lives in Jerusalem.

He has devoted his full time to Israpundit and has made it one of the more prominent pro-Israel blogs on the internet.

Recently, he became an Associate of Israel Institute for Strategic Studies headed by Dr Martin Sherman.

His articles are regularly published on American Thinker, Canada Free Press, Arutz Sheva and many other sites.

He is interviewed weekly on the Zelda Show which is produced in Toronto. In addition he is periodically interviewed on Middle East Radio Forum and Denice Pandel Show both of which are broadcast in the US,

  1. David Chase Said:

That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard.

Yes but true all the same Thank god unlike you she wasn’t raised by Jerry Lewis the French neo-deity.

  2. Ted Belman:
Wish you good luck with your lecture.
I’m sure it will be a big success.
Looking forward to the recording of the lecture.

  3. I was raised by Groucho Marx and Greta Garbo. Absurdity was my only ” touch stone” to reality.

That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard.

  4. @ Ted Belman:
Ted, please make sure that you are properly miked. So many times I see videos where the background noise is so great, that you can hardly hear the speaker. Other times, the sound is great. Make sure you are one of the other times 🙂

  5. “Obama sees Netanyahu as most disappointing of all Mideast leaders”
ByPamela Geller on March 10, 2016

It’s to laugh, it’s to cry.

Obama sees Netanyahu as most disappointing of all Mideast leaders. Not Rouhani, not Morsi, not Assad, not Abbas, not Erdogan, not Mashal, not Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi — the Jew.

I sees Obama as the most disappointing and antisemitic President of all U.S. president. This anti-semite is in a league of his own.

“In recent days,” Goldberg continues, “the president has said privately, ‘All I need in the Middle East is a few smart autocrats.’ A true dictator at heart. Obama was instrumental in overthrowing autocrats in order to install jihad terror rule. And now he weakly and pathetically laments? Colour me skeptical.

“Obama sees Netanyahu as most disappointing of all Mideast leaders — report,” Times of Israel, March 9, 2016:
The Atlantic: Israeli PM is ‘in his own category’ when it comes to those who frustrate US president; article cites ‘condescending’ lecture by PM, asserts that Obama sees Netanyahu as ‘too fearful and politically paralyzed’ to secure two-state solution

  6. Ted Belman’s Upcoming lecture on “Obama’s Middle East Debacle”

    .

I say…All above has been well known and well covered everywhere. Nothing new.

I want to know the position of Belman himself in all of this, and since Belman always trails the bourgeois Zionist Zeitgeist, the position of bourgeois Zionism in general.
    :

As when Belman wrote at the beginning of the crisis: “The Free Syria Army is made up mostly of defecting soldiers and officers. They are outgunned and out-numbered but have the support of the people and will fight on.”
    (March 4, 2012
    http://canadafreepress.com/article/israel-fiddles-while-syria-burns)

The FSA “had the support of the people” Belman claimed in 2012. Not true. They did not have the support of the Alawites, the Christians and of a good section of Muslims who reject fundamentalism and who when push comes to shove favour a secular type government such as that of Assad.

  7. Ted, for those of us who can’t make it – are you going to record your talk so we can enjoy it afterwards?

  8. To quote Rubio:” Obama knows what he is doing!” I fully agree.
The consequences of the ME Obama policy include: the spread of Islam in the EU, Canada and US. The further Islamization of Europe, the further fanatical Islamization of North Africa. There are two types of Muslims according to BHO: the Islamic and the non-Islamic. The Islamic one is peaceful, non-violent, powerless and represents an infime minority of the Muslim population. The non-Islamic is Sharia-lover and everything else (violent, fanatic etc.) BHO refuses to condemn or even name the second one for fear that it will affect the reputation of the quasi non-existent peaceful Muslim (infime minority).
His focus was never on finding solutions or compromises to better the standing of blacks and non-blacks but always on advancing Islam, Islamism and Islamization in the western world.

  9. Ted,
Congratulations on the specific case and thank you for the great contribution you are making to a better understanding of the personalities and dynamics within Israel.
I would like very much to attend but the distance is great and the trip is demolishing for an old fellow like me.
    We wish you great success!

  10. JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cancellation of a proposed meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama put more strain on their troubled ties on Tuesday just before a visit to Israel by Vice President Joe Biden.

The White House said on Monday it was “surprised” to learn first from Israeli media that Netanyahu had decided against coming to a conference of the pro-Israel lobby AIPAC in Washington on March 20, and the suggestion in some reports that among his reasons was Obama’s unavailability to see him…

    A glimmer of dignity?
    A foreshadowing of resolve?
    A newfound valor?
Unlikely, but we can always dream:
