HUGE AMOUNTS of excavated soil, along with building debris, are haphazardly disposed of each year

The High Court of Justice on Monday rejected a petition by 70 Jahalin Beduin families to remain on land that is part of the Ma’aleh Adumim settlement, according to the non-governmental group Regavim.

It issued a statement after a court hearing Monday. According to the court, a ruling was made in the case, but it has not yet been published.

The State wants to relocate the herding families that live in temporary illegal structures to the nearby village of Abu Dis, just outside of Jerusalem.

It has provided the Beduin with free property lots on which they can construct permanent homes. Roads have already been built and infrastructure has already been laid for those homes.

The Beduin families want to remain where they are, because it would be difficult for them to continue to raise sheep from the new property in Abu Dis. They would prefer to build permanent homes in what is known as Area G of Ma’aleh Adumim.

In its response to the High Court of Justice submitted on January 25, the state explained that it would be impossible to authorize the Jahalin Beduin community where it is now located because the area is zoned for Ma’aleh Adumim.

The property does not belong to the Beduin, and it is close to the planned route of the security barrier, should it be constructed in that area.

The judges rejected a claim by the Beduin that the land was in Area B of the West Bank, which is under the control of the Palestinian Authority.

They ruled that the property is Area C and that it would be impossible for the Beduin to legally construct homes there.

Supreme Court President Miriam Maor said, “We investigated the matter and it is clear that nothing will be built there.”

The state told the court that the Beduin wanted to relocate to improve their living conditions, but that the Palestinian Authority and others, including anarchists, had prevented them from doing so.

A spokesman for Regavim said, “The Palestinian Authority is more concerned with its strategic hold on the area than with the welfare of the Beduin.”

  1. @ bernard ross:
Bernard, the Nazi Larvae has come back but has not learned anything from his previous visits.
Correct me if I’m wrong. It is my understanding that the land that had been for the Jews the Hashemite Midget took it over and appropriated for Jordan. Cleaned the area from Jews by removing them or killing them. Ethnic cleansing? That continued until 1967. The Russians always so willing to spread communism by creating conflict, decided to start the narrative of the poor Palestinians with Arafat who they brought from Tunisia for that purpose. Together with the European Union they poured money into the area. Instead of using the money to educate their young, you can see videos where a beautiful little girl is being taught to decapitate a doll while repeating hateful phrases against the Jews.
The same with the toddlers who assist their nurseries school or per-kindergartens. From a very early age they are brainwashed with the money send by the EU and the US. Why is not the Nazi Larvae asking these people why they misuse of this money which instead of educating is going to brainwashing? Arafat the same as Abbas have taken advantage from the large contributions from the West to enrich themselves while keeping their populations poor and ignorant. All these with the tacit approval of the EU.&US
On our side, we the Jews educate the Arabs in our country, educate our own children in the sciences and the arts, the humanities. In every disaster that occur in the world we send our people to the rescue with help from our doctors and technicians. We offer technological assistant to Africa that they can improve their crops. Install our technology in countries where potable water does not exist therefore preventing diseases. Whether is Haiti the Philippines, Nepal and earthquakes and other natural disasters the Israelis are there. Israel success in every area whether is agriculture, medicine or information technology is at the vanguard and also helping and doing for the third world what other larger and richer countries would not do. Meanwhile the Europeans are promoting these people who are teaching their children primitive criminal behaviour a false narrative invented by the Russians and promoted by the thug Arafat.
Every few months after reading some books where he can pick and choose whatever is convenient to preach the the Jews how terrible we are and what we should be doing or not doing. He is King of knowledge of everything and ignorant of everything which does not fit his agenda.
In resume: He is a Nazi Larvae with a mouth and another orifice which is all connected.
Get real Curious American. ISRAEL IS A BEACON TO THE WORLD. In spite of what you said. Eat your heart out.
