It’s almost too embarrassing to tell the story about the Jewish organization, Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS) and its new job of resettling Syrian/Muslim refugees into this country. And how many of us have ever heard of the umbrella group of this endeavor, calling itself the Jewish Coalition for Syrian Refugees in Jordan which includes under its umbrella, other such name brand charities as: ADL, the AJC, JCPA, Jewish Federations of North America, to name but just a few?

Before we dig deeper into this lunacy, just how many Jews are there to be resettled from the nations of Syria and Jordan? How many fingers do you have on your left hand? So, without being geniuses, we conclude that the “refugees” being aided and abetted to immigrate to this country are…Muslims. And major American Jewish charities are stumbling over themselves to be the rescuers of these Jew haters. And Jew haters they are. We hear no words of love for Jews emanating from any major figure or leader from among the Muslim controlled lands in that area of the world. In addition, we must ask, “How are these people being screened to rule out terrorists being welcomed to this country?” If our southern border security is any indication of our ability to weed out undesirables, we are in big trouble.

The outgoing head of the ADL, Abe Foxman, had these words of nonsense to say about this act of mercy:

“Wherever there is humanitarian disaster and devastation, Jews and the Jewish community have always come together to do what we can to address suffering. It is important that the entire Jewish community, as well as faith groups across the spectrum, do everything possible to alleviate the impact and misery of this terrible crisis.”

Not so Abe. During WWII there were no Jewish fund raisers for the families of dead Wermacht troops nor for the victims of our bombings of Dresden. Nor were there Jewish funds collected for the families of Muslim terrorists who died after slaughtering Jewish men women and children. We feel that Jewish funds should be collected and utilized only for use to aid Jews.

There appears to be a refusal on the part of the major Jewish charities to recognize that presently Holocaust II is taking place in of all places… Europe. The Jewish population of France is relying on their knowledge of history and running like the blazes out of France. Recent comments by Natan Sharansky and Benjamin Netanyahu calling for Jews to leave France for the safety of Israel should have pulled the alarm cord for American Jewish leaders to alert them to the crisis on that continent. But no such response or awakening.

In a call to the HIAS offices in NYC this week, we were told that the Jews of France and of other European nations are not classified as “refugees” and are not to be taken under the wing of any Jewish charitable organizations. Strange then that in 2012, less than 2,000 Jews left that country for alliyah to Israel but that number has swollen to 8,000 in 2014. It appears that these Europeans know more than the Jewish American leaders regarding the safety of their families on that continent. They have learned their lesson too well.

So to all of the Jewish groups scampering to save the lives of Jew hating Muslims, please come to your senses and do what such groups back in the 1930’s failed to do. And that is to concentrate on using your good offices, power, clout and Jewish funding to focus on the needs of the Jewish populations that need assistance. And do so before it’s too late!
