Welcome back. I just came back home early. It is raining and cold here. We used a new recipe for the Hammentachen and, it was better than the one I was using for years. I’ll get it and post it next time you go to Chit Chat.
New York Jews are good. Only the upper East Side is full of Jinos. Some shuls (the liberal ones) are the ones with the most security. In the boroughs like Queens & Brooklyn we have regular and very religious Jews. In Brooklyn we have Hassidic Jews and they have bakeries that supply lots of the city Kosher markets.The Chalah bread and their rye bread is excellent. Jews, we have a bit of everything like in a pharmacy.
I’m not good at keeping Shabbat. I’m glad you are well. Was worried you might have caught something. With the changing weather everyone seems to be sick.
Do not worry about TX opinion. Many men are born to be contrary. If you like it chances are that other people like it also. Just keep on feeding him.
I was thinking…With your imagination do you think you could paint some scenes just like the one you described
of women in a harem (American harem) serving coffee to a
guy waiting to be served? Make the guy with sneaky kind of eyes. I think if you paint what you imagine it will be very successful from the marketing point of view. Different but great. Make it as colorful as your personality.
BTW the hammentachen filled with Nutella was a it with the kids. Who does not like chocolate? Try it. Better than chocolate alone.
