FAA lifts ban

Early Thursday the Federation Aviation Administration lifted its temporary ban on US airlines’ flights’ to Israel, which Canadian and several European airlines had observed after a Hamas rocket strike near Ben Gurion airport Tuesday.  The decision which caused chaos to international travel to and from Israel and left tens of travelers stranded was condemned by many Israel and Americans as “a prize to terror” and an “air blockade” against Israel. It remains to be seen how many airlines renew normal service following the FAA’s reversal of its ban.
