After the Six-Day War, Moshe Dayan coined the phrase,
“better Sharm el-Sheikh without peace than peace without Sharm el-Sheikh.”
In keeping with this sentiment, I proclaim,
“Better Judea and Samaria without peace than peace without Judea and Samaria.”
Today in a speech in Israel, Olmert announced that the beleaguered citizens of Sderot can not expect their town to be defended “ad infinitum.”
When he declared recently that “we are tired of winning,” I thought he was merely an idiot. But now, with this last pronouncement, I consider him criminally insane.
Israel is cursed with unimaginative and tired leadership.
Whence comes our salvation?
To that sentiment Olmert, Kadima and so many other Israelis will ask, Dayan who?
