Seventy-four Democrats in the House of Representatives have joined the leftist J Street organization in supporting the Obama administration’s attempt to force Israel into making painful and possibly dangerous concessions to the Palestinian Authority.
“In our view, support for a two-state resolution is inseparable from such support for Israel, its special relationship with the United States, and its very survival as a democratic homeland for the Jewish people,” the letter asserted.
Seven Jewish members signed the letter, including Reps. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.), John Yarmuth (D-Ky.), Reps. Susan Davis (D-Calif.), Bob Filner (D-Calif.), Jared Polis (D-Colo.), Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) and Henry Waxman (D-Calif.).
Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), the chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee also signed the letter.
J Street’s director of government affairs, Dylan Williams, noted that the signatories “are making clear that to be pro-Israel is to support active U.S. engagement in achieving a two-state solution.”
“If the U.S. Congress does not make a viable resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict a cornerstone of foreign policy in the region, then we are not truly helping Israel to face one its most critical challenges,” Williams continued, not mentioning that there are other possible solutions and that the two-state one might bring catastrophe upon Israel.
While J Street claims it is a “pro-Israel” organization, its policies have ranged from supporting the libelous Goldstone Report to opposing sanctions and military actions against Iran. The organization has provided a forum for radicals advocating boycotts, divestment and sanctions against Israel and has denied, despite evidence to the contrary, that it receives funding from George Soros, the multi-billionaire financier of radically left leaning organizations.

Conservative Jews Condemn President Obama
Why Are American Jews Liberal?
These signatories do not know the history of their own country, USA. They stole land from American Indians, which makes them THIEVES; their ancestors killed millions of American Indians, the rest these “democrats” keep in concentration camps Reservations where Indians slowly dying, which makes them MURDERES. They are profoundly ignorant in the subject of Israel history either and don’t know that Israel with the capitol of Jerusalem was created over 3500 years ago and in 1922, Britain stole over 76% of Israel territory to create state of Jordan for palestinian arabs. So, what is the difference between them and Nazis? No difference.
Do you think that these members of Congress would sign a letter demanding that if a Palestinian State were to emerge that Jews be allowed to live in that state without fear of harm or death? If this is a real peace process and 2 state solution, Jews should be able to live in Ramallah just as Arabs live in Tel Aviv with full and equal rights. If Jews cannot live in a Palestinian state because the PA demands that they leave or because they will be killed if they stay, then there is no peace. If there is no real peace as described above, Israel should not offer any concessions. If there were real peace, “settlements” would not be an issue as these Jews could remain there safely under PA rule with full rights of citizens just as Arab Israelis do under Israeli rule.
Here’s the context in which I read all this:
A. Seven Jews, out of 79 signers — something like 9%. What percent of Democrat congressmen are Jews? Let me look it up:
At the time of this listing, there were 192 Dems in Congress, so the Jews were 26/192, or 13½% of the Dems. Only 9% of the J Street Abomination were Jews, so that’s not bad. This is good news, if you consider Jews to be indifferent, disinterested airheads when it comes to Israel — which isn’t a bad starting assumption, giving the milleu they live in. The airheads, of course, could be expected to act the same as the Democrat goiim. I’d say, all in all, that this means there are some Democrat Jewish congressmen who are either personally concerned for Israel, or are concerned that a significant percentage of their constituents might be.
That’s pretty good news. The second thing I noticed, is this:
B. Obama doesn’t need J Street to endorse his anti-Israel stance, though they are useful idiots. If he were supported by the Southern Baptist Convention, I would begin to worry. Most of us know Obama by now, that he has, at best, a hidden hatred for Jews and is, at best, in the pay of the Saudis and their minions. It could be worse — he might be the horned red man with an appearance generator, which is possible; but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. That said, Obama’s anti-Israel policies are such a seamless continuation of Bush’s anti-Israel policies, that I pause to wonder whether Romney’s anti-Israel policies won’t just be a seamless continuation of Obama’s, but with prettier hair and a Mormon smile.
I suppose this “J Street” news would be a shocker, to any here who might harbor illusions about Jews actually being of one mind in caring for their homeland. Where would such an illusion come from? Are Jews of one mind about ANYTHING? Why this? I say, Bravo! to the 19 or so Jewish Democrats in Congress who didn’t sign on to that stupid letter. Maybe some folks here might write to them and thank them. It’s best that this be done by goiim, since (if I am correctly informed by Jewish sources) American Jews are more concerned about what the goiim think of them than what their fellow Jews think of them. My own congressman’s an Italian with a nice smile.
