A Tragedy Shrouded in Silence: The Destruction of the Arab World’s Jewry
By Adi Schwartz
A vast diaspora was utterly annihilated, but Israelis rarely talk about it.
My friend Jerry Honigman describes it as
“One of the best pieces on Jewish refugees from “Arab” lands that you will ever find…Extremely timely and relevant…”
My father and mother and a lot of Jews left Iraq in the 1st World War, when the Jews were being hassled and killed. They and a lot of Jews left Baghdad, their homes and belongings, and fled persecution. They went to India, Singaore, and the USA. I can’t see why we today have to take on refugees from Arab countries, and let them live in Israel. Jews were expelled from most muslim countries.
