Blaming Israel or should I say Netanyahu

By Ted Belman

The two recent speeches reported here, one by Panetta and one by Gutman, both Obama appointees, and both spokespersons for his administration, had one thing in common, blame Israel.

Panetta blamed Israel for the absence of negotiations with the Palis and he blamed Israel for the worsening relations with Turkey Egypt and Jordan.

Gutman blamed Israel for the “for growing antisemitism harbored by people of Muslim faith.” To call them “muslims” might be seen as a pejorative so he consciously called then “people of the Muslim faith”. But I digress.

On Sept 23, Bill Clinton made a speech in which he blamed Netayahu for killing the peace process. He said that at Camp David, “they (the Arabs) also had an Israeli government that was willing to give them East Jerusalem as the capital of the new state of Palestine.” I mention this because the Atlantic Monthly recently published an article by Daniel Seidemann in which he wrote “Israeli settlement activities in East Jerusalem will soon render the geography and demography of the city so balkanized that it will no longer be possible to create a viable Palestinian capital in East Jerusalem. This means the end of the two-state solution, since Palestinians will never agree to a solution that does not include a capital in East Jerusalem”.

This is not by happenstance. It is a coordinated attempt by the Obama administration to make Israel, and more specifically, Netanyahu, the fall guy for all that’s wrong in the Middle east and specifically for the absence of negotiations.

Of course Obama stays above the fray and pats himself on the back for being Israel’s best friend, ever.

Netanyahu’s historic speech before both houses of the US government in May, laid down his red lines which included keeping Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel. The audience roared in approval. Bibi’s approval ratings both in the US and in Israel soared.

Obama had to claw his way back to re-establish his policy of pushing for peace based on the ’67 lines with swaps and a divided Jerusalem. What you see and hear is his game plan for doing so.

Perhaps I should have titled this “Blaming Netanyahu”. Both the EU and the US have spoken out against the pro-democracy bills which they call anti-democratic.

YNET reports,

“US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton voiced deep concern on Saturday over a wave of anti-democratic legislation in Israel and in particular a bill proposing to limit donations to human rights organizations. Clinton also criticized the growing exclusion of women from Israel’s public life.”

This represents another arrow in Obama’s quiver, attack the Right to strengthen the Left. Israel’s elections are less that a year and a half away. Remember Obama’s speech where he said not every one agrees with Likud. He’s thinking, if only Livni were the PM. Dream on.

  1. Ron Paul is the only one who has spoken consistently. He has done so to his on-stage detriment. But I agree with what Yamit said a few years ago – I paraphrase, Ron Paul could be the best thing for the sake of Israel. Was I close Yamit? I hate the fact is is not pro-Israel, but he would let Israel beat its own path thru the mideast. Israel is capable of so much more than it was prior to the 6-Day War. I might even guess at the end of a Paut first term, Israel might possess all the land east of the Suez Canal to the Jordan River. Wishful thnking?

  2. Yamit: I recall reading that Dimona has some nuclear facilities. Is there any way a “Palestinian” missile could blow up such facilities as in WW2 was done to weapons armories?

  3. “No one in Israel believes that [viz., that peace with the Arabs is possible] … today. “

If it’s true that virtually nobody in Israel is any longer so deluded, that’s a very good sign.

  4. “A lot of holding up weapons to Israel began late in Bush’s term and continued under Obama. Give each devil his own due.”

I know that weapons suspensions began before BHO (actually long before BHO), and I have no problem ‘giving each devil his due’ — if it can be done without going off-point.

However, if you read my post carefully (“Ah, there’s the rub!”), you’ll see that my two central points were intended to reply directly to

    A. Ted’s specific observation that “Of course Obama stays above the fray and pats himself on the back for being Israel’s best friend, ever” — and to reply also specifically to
    B. Obama’s own words affirming that outrageous lie, as quoted in Ted’s linked, Jonathan Tobin Contentions [COMMENTARY MAG] blog.

“…and a sleepy little desert town named Dimona…”

“…for your information: THE JEWISH SETTLEMENT OF DIMONA… ROCKS!!!!”

In re: the characterization of a “sleepy little desert town… ,” may I commend to your attention the assistance of a serviceable dictionary? — when you manage to acquire one, look up “irony.”

“Dimona would… then be within missile range. . . .”

“Got news for you booby, Dimona is already in missile range… ”

    That’s disturbing.

    For how long?

And how are they doing? — and I don’t mean only the settlement.

Once in a discussion about the bump on George Bush’s back (a microphone under his coat), someone commented that the bump was the hand of the puppeteer. Bill Clinton said while he was in office something like, “No one gets to my position in office without being controlled by those higher up.” There is no difference between Democrat and Republican. The Hegelian Dialectic (thesis – antithesis) is a tool to deceive everyone, especially voters. Ultimately that is in secret societies of the Illuminati and Freemasonry both of which go back to the Roman Catholic Church (“RCC”). The head Freemason in the world is the Queen of England and even she bows to the Pope. The RCC has been considered the Beast of Revelation 13 for nearly 2,000 years. There is at the top of the RCC, Freemasonry, and Illuminati, a few controllers and those lower in the organization haven’t a clue who is running things and who are intentionally kept in the dark. Freemasons are not told until the 30th degree that they actually worship Lucifer. Many writers say that all U.S. Presidents except Abraham Lincoln and JFK were Freemasons. All of those photos of Presidents in aprons were not because they were about to make a pie!

    Masonic Origins.

The history of Freemasonry, I discovered, was also the history of the secret societies, and the history of the secret societies is the history of organized occultism—particularly in the Western world. Perhaps the most complete history of organized occultism has been provided by Albert Pike in his 861 page occult classic entitled — “Morals and Dogma of the
Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry” (more commonly referred to by Masons as simply Morals and Dogma). Drawing from the sources available to him as the long-time leader of Freemasonry (1859-1891), Pike was able to trace the chronological growth and spread of the Mysteries over the face of the earth from ancient Babylon down to the present-day Masonic Order. — an excerpt from “En Route to Global Occupation” by Gary H. Kah, published by Huntington House.

  6. since Tel Aviv (including Ben-Gurion Airport), as well as Jerusalem, and a sleepy little desert town named Dimona would all then be within missile range. . . .

Got news for you booby, Dimona is already in missile range and for your information: THE JEWISH SETTLEMENT OF DIMONA… ROCKS!!!!

A lot of holding up weapons to Israel began late in Bush’s term and continued under Obama. Give each devil his own due. What about the Apache Choppers America refused to sell to Israel but sold them to Egypt instead?

  7. He refused for his entire first two years in the Oval Office to approve any needed, significant Israeli arms purchases or up-grades, as well as suspended delivery of previously-approved purchases: effectively imposing on Israel, until quite recently, an unstated, but very real, embargo — while America racked up a hefty profit from the ten billion dollars in sales of massive quantities of offensive armament that His Wonderfulness did indeed see fit to approve for Arab League states in that same, identical period

    — and this is to say nothing of his recent seal on the largest munitions transaction [$60B] in American history: to the Sa’udi regime,

policy decisions in egregious and contemptuous violation of a 40-year-old US pledge to foster Israel’s qualitative military EDGE over her Arab neighbors.

He also notified Jerusalem through diplomatic back-channels that US forces will not — repeat, absolutely WILL NOT — bomb the nuclear facilities of the Islamic Republic (since, after all, “the United States… will never be at war with Islam” [Ankara, Speech to Turk Parliament, 6 Apr 09]),

while he simultaneously threatened to refuse re-supply of Israeli forces with spare parts or ammunition in the event of any Israeli attack on the Iranian facilities, since, by his order, the Islamic Republic must under no circumstances be defined as a geostrategic threat.

    “Best friend, ever.”

are Jewish Democrats AWARE of these facts, and still plan to vote OBAMA ? Freud called that ” death wish “

  8. The more I think about the above discussions, the more I see a link between Obama and the Clintons. The question in my mind is who is
the grand puppetmaster. Is it Bill Clinton or George Soros or does it go all the way to Saudi Arabia. Maybe its not so important who is
actually pulling O’s strings and the whole operation is run by committee. Hmmm . . .

  9. This is an old Clinton tactic, tried and tested in the 90s. It worked then because Israeli Jews naively believed peace with the Arabs was still possible. No one in Israel believes that can happen today. For the Islamists, the existence of a pre-Islamic independent civilization in the Middle East is simply intolerable. Nothing Israel does will preserve the peace except her armed strength. Any one who believes otherwise is a fool.

  10. “Of course Obama stays above the fray and pats himself on the back for being Israel’s best friend, ever.

From the link to Tobin’s Contentions Column:
“‘[T]his administration has done more in terms of the security of the state of Israel than any previous administration. And that’s not just our opinion, that’s the opinion of the Israeli government…”

Really? — He reads BB’s mind?

    And he read Shamir’s mind? — Begin’s? — Meir’s? — Rabin’s? etc., etc.

My, that boy is some talent.

“…Whether it’s making sure that our intelligence cooperation is effective, to making sure that we’re able to construct something like an Iron Dome so that we don’t have missiles raining down on Tel Aviv…”

The Iron Dome will be more expensive to operate than it’s worth. The only value it can have is as a pretext to justify BHO’s now demanding that Israel relinquish the heartland provinces: since Tel Aviv (including Ben-Gurion Airport), as well as Jerusalem, and a sleepy little desert town named Dimona would all then be within missile range. . . .

“…[W]e have been consistent in insisting that we don’t compromise when it comes to Israel’s security…”

  11. Pizza Boy Panetta needs to go back to baking Pizzas, something he probably was NEVER good at anyway, just as he was an incompetent CIA director and a disgusting Ovomit arselicking so-called Secretary of Defense. Anything he says should be fully disregarded – as he’s just another Demoncrapic A-Hole and a toady to the anti-Semite Bonzo.

  12. I think the obamity disease will shrink in 2012. The Clintons, Panettas and the rest of the diseased rodents will be around for any future epidemic.

  13. “US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton voiced deep concern on Saturday over a wave of anti-democratic legislation in Israel and in particular a bill proposing to limit donations to human rights organizations. Clinton also criticized the growing exclusion of women from Israel’s public life.”

This witch has some nerve. Women have equal rights in Israel. Yet she has nothing to say about the actual repression of women in muslim countries. And that bill doesn’t limit donations to “human rights” organizations (which of course are actually anti-Israel organizations), but it simply ends foreign governments contributions to Israeli NGO’s. Let them get donations from Israeli citizens. Of course they are unable to because the true purpose of these groups is to undermine Israel and aid its enemies.

I’m beginning to come to the point where any Republican would be a vast improvement over this administration, yes even Ron Paul who I can’t stand. He would at least mind his own business regarding Israel’s internal affairs. Being an isolationist is preferable to an administration actively working against Israel.

  14. Narvey I keep telling you there is no such thing as American JEWISH LEADERSHIP, there are organizations that call themselves in some way Jewish but they aren’t and neither in any meaningful ways are those who lead them.. How many names of heads of major or minor Jewish organizations can you or anyone else name? Heads of Jewish organizations are chosen because of large donations and the ability to raise funds within and without the so called Jewish Communities. Government funding is critical to those organizations so close connectivity to establishment politicians of both parties is a given requisite.

From here, it looks like they are all mostly self serving anachronisms.

There is no way to either revive or save the north American Jewish communities and their opinions and worth are less than zero meaning they do more harm than good.

  15. Panetta’s voice is Obama’s voice, calling Israel to get back to the damn negotiating table and of course blaming Israel for not negotiating with Palestinian Islamist Jew haters, murderers and terrorists who don’t want to negotiate, unless all their demands are first met.

    Disgusting? You bet.

What are the major Jewish organizations saying about this latest piss on Israel demand by the Obama administration?

Probably nothing much, but I would be interested to know if anyone has come across American Jewish leadership’s reaction to this latest Obama insult not only to Israel, but to reason and common sense.

  16. [Hillary] Clinton also criticized the growing exclusion of women from Israel’s public life.”

What a crock! How many want to compare Muslim treatment of women to Israel’s treatment of women!

  17. I posted this elsewhere, but it’s worth a repeat:

    1. Bill Clinton recently blamed the PM of Israel (read, “the Jew”) for the failure of the nonexistent “peace process”
    2. Leon Panetta accused the Israelis (Jews) of the same, and went on to blame them in advance for the certain failure of the economies of the US and Europe
    3. Howard Gutman then blamed the Jews for the sin of anti-Semitism (“Jew hatred”)

    Let’s check out the sources:

    1. Bill Clinton is Bill Clinton
    2. Leon Panetta was Chief of Staff under Bill Clinton, and
    3. Howard Gutman contributed the legal maximum of $2300 to Bill Clinton’s presidential bid.

    Common denominator? Bill Clinton

  18. Clinton, Gutman, Panetta…

Is this the latest fad? Panetta was appointed by Clinton, and Gutman is yet another self-hating Jewish useful idiot; so I suspect Bill Clinton is at the bottom of this latest slander.
