If Israel Fails to Extend Sovereignty to Yesha…

If Israel fails to extend sovereignty to Judea and Samaria, the Jewish authority will do so until the government wakes up.

Professor Hillel Weiss, inn

If Israel does not extend sovereignty

The initiative led by groups on Israel’s political Right to promote the application of the sovereignty of the State of Israel to Judea and Samaria is welcome as long as they do not intend just to “make right-wing noises” and to be content with extending Israel’s sovereignty to the larger Jewish communities there and to some of the access roads – this, so as not to clash with the position adopted by the Prime Minister, according to which Jews outside those communities will either have to flee to the large blocs or live under Arab rule.

Every indication given by the Israeli government shows that it is still ready and even anxious for multi-lateral negotiations whose certain outcome will be the eventual dissolution of the State of Israel.

Netanyahu is going easy on the boycott sponsors and refuses to investigate the financial sources of their slander in order to remain “a liberal”. He still defends the system of electing judges to the Supreme Court in its present format so as not to engage in open conflict with “the rule of law” spearheaded by the Left.

At the same time, U.S. President Obama is pressing for a resumption of negotiations in order to avoid a unilateral Arab declaration in September and the need for the US to cast a veto in the Security Council. The Quartet is indifferent towards the demand to recognize the Jewish state, and classic European anti-Semitism is bubbling up in this debate among the Russian leadership.

Even before the UN General Assembly 1947 Resolution, mention was made of the ‘Jewish State’ and certainly of the ‘Jewish National Home’ in all of the proceedings in the wake of World War I, beginning with the Balfour Declaration in 1917. However, the nations today wonder at their forebears’ largesse and reserve their good will only for a secular Israeli state within the dimensions of a ‘state of all its citizens’, the kind that will ensure that the name of Israel is obliterated.

The Israeli government has never retracted its two-state program! It has not changed its mind about the Oslo Accords, either directly or by implication. Therefore any agreement to hold negotiations is still bound by that hardened psycho-political perspective. Promoting the illegal and unconstitutional act of abandoning the Jewish residents and territory to Arab rule is in effect renewing the exile for Jews who will be subject to pogroms from two artificial and illegitimate countries.

Therefore every Jew must know his rights under international law (in addition to having the love of the Almighty, the Lord of Hosts, who protects him by virtue of the Covenant), and understand that the State of Israel has no authority or representative ability to deny these rights.

In the letter of Iyar 5771 (May 2011) sent by the heads of the regional councils of Judea and Samaria to the Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-Moon, written at the initiative of the Land of Israel Loyalists and herewith attached, it was explained clearly why the national rights of the Jews to Judea, Samaria, and Gaza remain in effect and obligate the UN. The Prime Minster in his recent speech to Congress also said that we are not foreign conquerors in our own land.

Therefore, if the United Nations still presumes to act as an agent for peace and a responsible functionary, it must reaffirm the rights of the Jewish People and of its authorized representative – the State of Israel or other representative agency – to the entire territory to which the Mandate for Palestine once applied, on both sides of the Jordan River, as originally determined at the 1920 San Remo Peace Conference and confirmed two years later by the League of Nations.

Jordan is a state established by Great Britain illegally on part of the territory of the Jewish National Home, just as Syria and Lebanon themselves today occupy considerable parts of the mandated Land of Israel.

We demand that the United Nations Security Council and the President of that body confirm the receipt of this letter and declare their agreement with its contents and devote a session (before any deliberation of requests and demands made by Arabs under any name, or in support of such demands) to the positions taken in this letter.

We demand that provisional representatives of the citizens – to be elected in free, democratic elections to be explained below – who are residents of the areas of the land of Israel liberated from Arab occupation in 1967, be invited to that session.

We demand recognition the exclusive diplomatic entity established by those Jewish residents, to be known henceforth as “The Jewish Authority”, until such time as the State of Israel consents to recognize its rights and obligations toward the Jewish people, in accordance with the resolutions of the League of Nations that were later re-recognized by the UN.

On this matter we challenge all nations and peoples to once again recognize – as the State of South Carolina did recently – the exclusive ownership and sovereignty of the Jewish people over the Land of Israel.

Therefore, any implied consent by the United Nations and its institutions or any other international organization to the establishment of an additional state in the Land of Israel, in addition to the Jewish state, is a fraudulent abuse of United Nations resolutions and a rebellion against the treaty between the Creator of the universe and His people, under which the Land of Israel was originally bestowed upon the people of Israel.

Such a consent is liable to result in terrible war world over, not confined to the Middle East, but also involving China, Korea, and Iran and the countries they now oppose, because it will accelerate the seizure of control by Islamist lies and the domination of a murderous political culture in every place that militant Islam has a foothold. This will be particularly true in the nations of Europe where the economy is failing and national identity is diluted.

In the Jewish Authority, non-Jewish residents will also be able to find their place, as long as they do not conduct themselves as a foreign and hostile element against the citizens of the autonomy, which exists as a Jewish state for the Jews, just as America exists for the American people.

One year after the receipt of this letter, independent and free elections will be held by those who consider themselves to be citizens of the Jewish Authority according to a census, and who demonstrate their loyalty to the Jewish Authority under the rules of Jewish Law.

The Jewish Authority will be loyal to the laws of the State of Israel and its institutions, as long as these do not clash with the sovereign existence of the residents of Judea and Samaria who faithfully hold these regions until such time as the State of Israel implements its sovereignty over them.

Foreign residents who continue to see themselves as expressions of Arab or Islamist nationalism, whose purpose is to expel the Jews from their land, as stated explicitly by the head of the ‘Palestinian Authority’ Abu Mazen and his supporters, are criminals cynically exploiting the tools given to them by the UN, as in the case of the Goldstone Report and the Turkish flotilla.

These people are subverting the proven national history of the Jewish people and its religion and consistently creating a fictitious and imitative history for themselves which never existed in reality. They are widely known as official Holocaust deniers.

It is fitting that international institutions have nothing to do with them and that they are given no foothold in the Jewish Authority, so that what they wished to do others, shall be done to hem.
The Temple Mount and the Temple

The jurisdiction of the Jewish Authority extends over every square meter of the land in danger of being surrendered to the enemy. Therefore the site of the Holy Temple, the Temple Mount, and the Old City of Jerusalem are the heart of the Jewish Authority.

The government of Jordan reneged on the agreements it had reached with the government of Israel regarding the Temple Mount and the Mughrabi Gate, demonstrating its lack of honor.

Since it adopted the false narrative as though the Temple of King Solomon never stood on the Temple Mount, Mount Moriah, the Mount of G-d, we demand, first and foremost, that UNESCO hold strictly monitored excavations conducted by the most prestigious scientific authorities in the field and under our supervision to verify and catalogue all previous archeological findings on the Temple Mount in order to bear out the facts on undeniable history. The Islamic organizations can present all of their own “findings”.

At the end of the process, when the historical truth is proven regarding the exclusive rights of the Jewish people, UNESCO must censure all acts of destruction and vandalism that have been carried out on the Temple Mount, while the international, Israeli, and Arab agencies turned a blind eye – a maneuver that was wrongly conceived and evaluated, thus plunging the entire region into acceptance of the continuing Islamic conquest and violation of world peace.

May we be soon privileged to establish the Temple of the G-d of Israel on the Temple Mount, in its most proper role, a house of prayer for all the nations, just as the G-d of Israel is the God of the world and the Creator of heaven and earth Whom we worship and serve.

In order to promote and implement the ideas expressed in this document, we call upon the residents of Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria and everyone to whom the future of the Jewish people in the Land of Israel is important, to identify with the Jewish Authority and to come to the first Convention, which will take place, G-d willing, on the 9th of Elul [8.9.11] At Nofim, near the capital of Samaria, Ariel, may it speedily be built and strengthened.

From Zechariah 8:19: ‘Thus saith the LORD of hosts: The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful seasons; therefore love ye truth and peace.’

  1. Sol Grazi of Tekoa,

I lived in Israel for 18 months in 1973-1974. My wife and I were there on graduate fellowships at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. As time went on, it became increasingly clear that the liberals who ran Israel then, and who mostly still run Israel, were determined to retreat from as much as possible of the lands the greatest Jewish generation had conquered in the Six Day War.

So when our one-year study grants expired, we determined to leave, and return to the USA to complete our graduate studies and live our lives.

Here, around Mount Horeb in south central Wisconsin, nobody gives a damn where I live or even if I am alive or dead. Which is just the way I like it. I have complete freedom to live wherever I want, so long as I can afford to pay for the land and the house and to pay the real estate taxes and for the natural gas and electric power. I had figured out as early as summer 1974 that I never would have that right in Israel.

You now have about 6 million Jews in Israel, which means you constitute maybe 40-45 per cent of the present Jewish nation. So its about time you figured out that your aliya from here on out mainly will be self-generated. Which shouldn’t be difficult when you consider that about three children per family is the national average in Israel, and that average may be twice that high for the Jewish religious nationalists.

In any case, it’s your country. So it’s your responsibility. Unless you are among the dumb ones, you probably know by now you never will have peace with the local Arabs at all, and probably not with any Arabs at all, or for that matter, the rest of the Moslem world. And that’s what you will live with day and night, no matter how hard you pray for a peace you never will achieve.

So you have no choice but to conquer the Arabs, take more of their land, run your enemies off that land, and replace them with your own people. If you do that successfully, you will create an Israel that one day even before the end of this century, could be a state with a Jewish population of about 25 million, with a larger exploitable natural resource base and an advanced industrial economy. If you do all that successfully, the Arabs and the rest of the Moslems will figure out that under no circumstances should they ever fuck with the Jews. Because if they do that, the Jews will use the provocation as an excuse to take more of their land, annex it, settle it, and run off the enemy Moslems. Or even worse for them from their point of view, possibly start converting them to Judaism and teaching their children to hate their own fathers.

All this is up to you and the rest of your folks in Israel, Sol. Nobody outside of Israel, Jewish or otherwise, can help you get rid of the Israeli Judenrat that bends over backwards to piss away the territorial rights of the Jewish nation. And smart folks don’t typically waste their lives hooking up with losers. So make your national choice and be winners.

Will you be getting millions more of the world’s Jews coming on massive future aliyot? Probably not, unless we or they are driven out of the countries we now live in. Most people are comfortable where they are, so that’s where they choose to park themselves. But there’s nothing to stop any of you from fostering your own internal aliya. That way, they will know Ivrit right from the get-go, and you can hook them for three years of national military service, or whatever it is now.

I suppose Tekoa is a nice place. But it is up to you and yours whether there will still be a Tekoa 20=30 years from now.

I’m being as honest as I can in these comments, friend.

  2. Were it not for the inability for a citizen to own more than one handgun, and the 3 year waiting period for Olim to even do that, I would be in the land where I have been planting trees for 60 years.

To Ed Katz- I’m with you

  3. So what are you doing in Mt Horeb WI? Come and build in the Yesha like so many of us have. One can’t always wait for the leaders to lead. Often they need direction.

First, there must be a massive build-up of Jewish population there. That in itself will insure that no Arab statelet can ever be erected anywhere in those territories. How can that be accomplished in the face of continued opposition from the Israeli government? Only by large-scale civil insurrection on the part of the Jews against their own government.

  5. Arnold Harris,

You were pretty critical of the reluctance of Jews to take up arms in their own defense. They have actually taken a step in that direction, in the mass demonstrations in Tel Aviv. That’s generally how armed insurrections get started.

In the United States, we have been subjected to many infringements of our freedom, with not much response except for the “Tea Party” stuff:

First, there’s the Federal interagency attack on Mount Carmel outside Waco. This was in the same county as then-President GHW Bush’s home at Crawford, Texas, in case nobody noticed, and he probably knew all the actors personally. He initiated the assault on those innocent people. The election intervened, as our troops laid siege on an American community, and Janet Reno was having difficulty being confirmed as Attorney General. As though a deal were struck, she was confirmed and agreed to proceed with the attack. She gave the orders, Bush’s people attacked (firing upon civilians trying to flee the building), and dozens of innocent women and children were incinerated — either alive, or due to mercy killings as the flames engulfed them.

AMERICA DID NOTHING. Only one American “took up arms”, as you say, and that was Tim McVeigh — who attacked innocent women and children at the Federal Building in Oklahoma City from which the Waco Massacre had been directed. McVeigh is universally acclaimed as a madman and terrorist.

Then there was the burning of the Reichstag World Trade Center in New York City, followed by the institution in Amerika of the Geheime Schutzanstaffel, or Homeland Security. Congress overwhelmingly and enthusiastically supported this invasion of our rights against unlawful search and seizure, and the continuing harrassment of ordinary Americans every time they travel — harrassment that includes stripping, groping and photographing naked people.

    AMERICA HAS DONE NOTHING.

Don’t be too hard on your fellow Jews. We are all lemmings. When the time comes, at Hashem’s direction, both our governments will collapse — and the rest of the world with them. That will happen soon enough. In the meantime, we have Yamit, and Gush Katif, and Amona, and many indignities to come; but we and our loved ones are alive and well. Soon enough, the dead will be all around us.

DISCLAIMER: I am not, by this nor any other statements here, advocating unlawful violence.

  6. I call on ALL Israeli leaders to insist in the Knesset that building begin in ernest and not just within current communities but in all of Judea and Samaria. Israeli JEWISH citizens must live on their land and all Arabs be moved into Jordan or killed. Enough is enough.

  7. @ Laura:

This is the fruit of the Obama policy of throwing Mubarak under the bus and placating the muslim brotherhood.

I can’t say that the situation is not now worse than it was under Mubarak but even Mubarak allowed the Bedouin to use Sinai for drug trafficking, terrorism and bringing into Israel prostitutes from E. Europe. He played a double game with Israel always pleading with the excuse that Egypt needed more manpower and more heavy armaments to do the Job. He used the Bedouin against us much the same way Iran and Syria use Hezbollah against Israel. Mubarak had a secondary maybe a primary goal of removing the Clause of the Camp David accords making the Sinai demilitarized except for lightly armed Egyptian police. Two year ago BB allowed 2 crack Egyptian Battalions to reenter Sinai against the same Camps David accords and just the other day he agreed to more. At this pace in a year or two we may face 2000 Egyptian tanks on our southern border.

Even After today’s incidents where eye witnesses said Egyptians soldiers were firing at them from Egypt, Israel (BB) gave them a pass and put the whole blame on Gaza terrorists. I don’t see where maintaining the fiction of peace with Egypt serves our national interests or any positive purpose.

The nations of the world have no problem with the existence of multiple islamic states but demand that Israel be a secular state of all of its citizens.

the world’s largest army and the key players in the world’s largest and most important state

America is the world’s most important nation. Contrary to popular belief, America remains the world’s leading economic and military power. American Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is nearly $15 trillion, while China’s is $5 trillion, despite a population more than four times as large. So I’m sick of hearing how China is overtaking us. Stop listening to the hyperbole.

  10. Merely issuing grandly-worded but private declarations in favor of annexing Shomron and Yehuda will never get that accomplished.

But most of you are endlessly timid, and you would never do that; which is one of the most unfortunate and misplaced of all Jewish cultural characteristics that have come to my attention over my 77 years of life as a Jewish American. Everybody else forces out rotten governments by violent action. So what in hell is wrong with you people? Instead, you always are led to destruction at the hands of the goyim by one stinking Judenrat after another.

Your particular Israeli Judenrat is more concerned with what they think is the approval or disapproval of the various goyim leaderships, than they are of the rights of the Jewish nation. And the irony of it all is that the more they cringe at the feet of the goyim, they more they — and you — are despised.

What exactly does it take for all of you to understand that the present government of the State of Israel is just the successor regime to the faded and long-departed British colonial officialdom that ran the affairs of the pre-independence Yishuv for 30 years. Those bastards sat on their hands while the Arabs were murdering the Jews of Hevron in 1929. Your bastards of 2011 sit on their hands and all but facilitate anti-Zionist measures all across the face of Shomron and Yehuda.

If any of you truly want to impress visiting military delegations of the Chinese general staff — the world’s largest army and the key players in the world’s largest and most important state — then just remember that they judge you from what they see and not just from what you prattle about. They had the will to power sufficient to grab Tibet, impose Chinese suzerainty over that land, and start planting a Han Chinese population there, irrespective of anything whatsoever that the rest of the world had to say about it. If you want them to take you seriously, you had better learn to act the same way.

There were two great Jewish leaders with whom I have had personal contact during my life. They taught me real Zionism, not the fake bullshit variety. One was Dr Israel Eldad, who was one of Lehi’s killers. The other was the martyred Rav Meir Kahane, who taught me to despise the whole of the leadership of the Jewish state. The things I say to you in these comments are all inspired by what I learned from them, except that they were a hell of a lot more polite about it than I am.

  11. Six killed in series of terrorist attacks in southern Israel

Dozens wounded in five near-simultaneous, coordinated terrorist attacks on Israeli vehicles • Witnesses: Egyptian soldiers fired at us from their side of the border • Barak: Attack occurred on Egyptian border, but its source is Gaza.
    Israel Hayom Staff

Several killed, dozens wounded after armed gunmen fired on bus traveling near Eilat, close to Egypt border; IDF and trades fire with gunmen; mortars are fired from Egyptian border; IDF kills several terrorists.

Israel is paying and will be paying a heavy price for not taking care of Hamas in “Cast lead”, for giving up control of the Phidelphi border and for not building a security fence on our 276 KM border with Egypt.

At least five Israelis, four from the same family, were reportedly killed and at least 26 wounded in a series of three near-simultaneous, coordinated terror attacks against Israeli vehicles traveling near the Egyptian border in Israel’s southern region on Thursday afternoon.

Four of the dead were reported to be from a family traveling in their private vehicle near the Egyptian border, when an RPG rocket hit their car.

Egypt must be considered by the IDF and our stupid politicians as an enemy state and treated accordingly.

IDF Solution for September Violence: Give the PA More Guns
The IDF has formulated a response to potential violence after the PA statehood bid in September. One suggestion: give them more guns.

This proves that in order to reach the top of our politicized IDF one must be totally stupid. Hamas leadership must be beheaded, A 276 mile security fence like the one between Israel Lebanon and Syria must be built starting today. IDF must be deployed in force along that open border between Israel and Egypt. Israel must retake the Gaza Egypt border. The strictest sanctions must be imposed on Gaza. Egypt must be put on notice that Israel reserve’s the right of hot pursuit after terrorists who attack from Egypt and if the Egyptian Army interferes will will defend ourselves in every way. Israel must state openly and publicly that we hold Egypt responsible for any attacks coming from their territory against Israel. We should quietly inform the Egyptian military that two tactical nuclear armed missiles have the Aswan dam targeted if Egypt shows any aggressive signs or maneuvers against Israel and that we will no longer engage in a conventional war with them.
