No, they didn’t. It was Romans who tortured and killed Yeshua.
This was on the subject of “collective salvation” and “liberation theology”. Little does he know that Judaism does teach collective salvation.
Judaism teaches Jews to help the downtrodden – not to have the government take from the producers of wealth and decide whom to give the money to in order to buy their votes.
Black liberation theology is a scurrilous attempt to distort the teachings of Christ and make him sound like Marx. Christ clearly asked for “Caesar” to be kept at arms length while teaching that we help the poor and downtrodden.
Xtians are unaware the spiritual devastation that Beck and others are perpetrating.
They are aware that he opposes Marxism/socialism and the scurrilous attempts by left wingers like you to confuse these evil philosophies with Xtianity.
Xtianity, on the other hand, teaches just the opposite. Their teaching is that up to 2/3 of Jews will die and be bound for hell.
Not true. Catholics, the biggest percentage of Xtianity, teaches that all good people will be saved.
Well, this isn’t the way of Hashem. Just as with a person’s own child, Hashem does not discard any Jew,
Your version of Hashem is insulting to HIM because you make it look like he only cares about the Jews and not the vast majority that are his other human creations.
The only thing that makes Jews special is that Jesus was a Jew and taught love, compassion, tolerance, redemption and forgiveness, which pissed off the old-time Rabbis and Pharisees which is why they rejected him and are all still waiting for the Messiah 2,000 plus years later.
So, when a person attempts to pit one Jew against another and create disunity
Tell that to the liberal Jews in America who helped elect an anti-Semite to the presidency. Tell that to the editors of Haaretz who would ruin Israel with their philosophy.
Why, even the Xtian text speaks that G-d is the one who ordains governments.
In a larger, abstract sense G-d ordains everything, including the Holocaust and the outcome of WW-II.
Thanks for the clarification.
My comments were in response to the video clip. There are certain “Armageddonites” that preach a certain doctrine and that doctrine is prevalent in many evangelical circles. We see more that Beck isn’t talking about simple politics but is promoting a certain religious dogma, a certain brand of Armageddonism. He now speaks of antichrists which causes a person to consider what eschatology is he promoting. Those who believe Xtians will be on earth during the “Great Tribulation” are the most dangerous. If and when that time comes a person should just be careful not to be caught up in some frenzy that is reminiscent of times past. Once blood is drawn from vilified Jews that taste will create a hunger that isn’t easily satisfied. All one has to do is read the news articles of the pogroms around Odessa in the late 1800’s. Fortunately my parents left just before and didn’t have to see what happened. We are on the road to that time again.
Rongrand: You are so right on this issue. The old saying that “More people have been killed
in the name of religion than for any other reason” is reason enough not to get entangled
in religious arguements. Why get into a fight that thousands of years experience have
taught us is impossible to win?
And my only comment was in reference to the statement:
Their teaching is that up to 2/3 of Jews will die and be bound for hell.
Now you know why I refrain from commenting on religious discussions.
Christianity, like all other religions has gone through many changes during past centuries.
Example (they are no longer torturing heretics, etc) The Pope has even exonerated the Jews.
So happy to no longer feel guilty when walking past a church.
Nobody can take the thinking of some obscure past era and apply it to today’s world and today’s
thinking. Anyone can choose whatever dogma that fits their own thoughts and feel righteous
by quoting from it. That doesn’t make it valid today, or at any given time.
Most Jewish commentaries say it is referring to the entire world but the Radak says it’s referring specifically to the Jewish Nation.

Sharbano, listen my friends here who know me will agree I in most cases 99.9% of the time will and do avoid religious discussion as there are no winners.
That statement is far out untrue. As a Catholic who attended Catholic elementary and high school we were never taught anything as crazy as that.
Trust me any Christian who would teach such nonsense will surely win a ticket to the devils den and the sprinkler system there does not work.

Thanks to JOMIT and you for waking up to the real world.
First of all here’s a video snip of Beck on Jews. Since his speech was on being the victim or being the conqueror the remark about what the “Jews” did stands on its own and was not part of the victim. Therefore, any attempt to whitewash it doesn’t “stand”.
This was on the subject of “collective salvation” and “liberation theology”. Little does he know that Judaism does teach collective salvation. And this is where his damage is being done. Xtians are unaware the spiritual devastation that Beck and others are perpetrating. Just as it was at Sinai, Klal Yisrael spoke with a single voice saying, “We will do and we will listen”, so will the end be. Ever since Oslo, HaKadosh Borchu has been working to this end. Each little step along the way has gathered more and more to that return.
Xtianity, on the other hand, teaches just the opposite. Their teaching is that up to 2/3 of Jews will die and be bound for hell. Therefore, if they are liberal secular Jews, or Reform Jews, there is no “salvation” for them. Well, this isn’t the way of Hashem. Just as with a person’s own child, Hashem does not discard any Jew, even if they are off the derek. Some want to condemn the likes of Dershowitz and others but they are too blind to see that he, too, is making the journey back. But their political hatred is such that they see nothing. The ones with a spiritual connection do see how things are mapped out. As Rabbi Amnon Yitzchak pointed out in his comparison of the Jew and the IDF. Each and every Jew has a purpose in an ultimate goal. In his comparison the “radicals” are as the commandos of the IDF. When virtually every Jew is bound to each other then is when the true New World Order will begin.
So, when a person attempts to pit one Jew against another and create disunity then this creates havoc in the spiritual realms and HaKadosh Borchu creates havoc on earth. People want to believe it’s all about politics but that’s not what is going on here. Why, even the Xtian text speaks that G-d is the one who ordains governments. So why should any Xtian even be angry at Obama. Surely it is G-d’s own doing. Maybe they are of “such little faith”.

Jomit your on the right course. I also grew up in an area that had a democratic plurality due to the heavy concentration of steel and textile related industries with strong unions.
Our community had a large Jewish population and they like the majority of all of us were all registered democrats.
And as you stated they all Jewish, Italians, Polkas, Irish and Lebanese voted for the straight democratic ticket.
I was originally registered democratic but found I was more of a conservative who supported Barry Goldwater decided I could not follow a ticket regardless what party.
I believe most conservatives will split their vote while democrats still vote the ticket.
When I see most of the democratic strategist on TV defending obama (the acorn community organizing pamphlet distributing anti-Semite pretending to be a Christian (for political reasons) who embraces Islam, and not a friend of Israel, an incompetent president, I believe they must be brain dead.
He was elected with the help of the liberal left media and george soros and company.
If they fail to see this, they must be brain dead.
Most Jews in America were brought up in democratic households. They didn’t vote the candidate, they voted the
ticket. I was no differently brought up. That Roosevelt was an anti semite was not even a thought in our minds. Truman? Couldn’t be….wasn’t his very best friend and partner a Jew? And…so it went. I changed because in my mind the democratic party changed. But before I did, I am ashamed to say that I voted for Carter, and my last liberal vote was for Gore. There, I’ve said it, and now I don’t need to go to confession.
I look back and marvel at how dumb I was…but no more. I truly believe that this jerk in the White House now may have that same effect on a lot of American Jews. They have been (as I said before) disillusioned by him, and I guarantee that X amount of the Mid term House landslide were Jewish votes. There will be a much larger
percentage come 2012. I think because of Obama, the democratic hold on American Jews has been heavily damaged. Incidentally, IMHO, that their vote is much more significant than their numbers, because they vote almost to a man and/or woman, while a huge percentage of non Jews don’t.
Exposing anti-Israelis pretending to be pro-Israel can never be a waste of time. I’ll deal with the Catholics on their forums.
There are so many Catholic sites, Where do you find the Time? Apparently you don’t post much to those sites otherwise you couldn’t be here.
Catholics are not semites voting for an anti-Semite.
So Jews were right in the past not to vote for both Bushes Reagan, Nixon and Ike? The fools did vote for antisemitic FDR, Truman Clinton and lastly Obama. So Jews are consistent in that whether presidents are Jew Haters or not Jews vote Democratic almost no matter what. Just like most Catholics Blacks and other minorities in America. Republicans are historically supported by WASPS. I wonder why?

You write anti-semitic postings – by deliberately twisting, libeling and demonizing the most pro-semitic media personality in America, Glenn Beck – and are allowed to post. So, what the heck are you whining about?
You can hop on the Beck bandwagon but, as I did with Bush, you may find yourself regretting it in the future.
The question is, why are you trying to sabotage the Beck pro-Israeli bandwagon?
Why would any true Israeli regret Bush? Bush shunned Yasser Arafat, an enemy of Israel and deposed an Arab tyrant like Saddam Hussein who had attacked Israel with Scuds and paid bounties to the families of suicide bombers in Israel. Bush supported Israel with US grants, loans and arms, and openly pledged to stand with Israel against a nuclear threat from Iran. Bush supported a two state solution which every Israeli government since 1947 has done. So, what’s to regret about Bush?
Likewise, Glenn Beck supports Israel and exposes with detailed evidence those who mean Israel harm, which regrettably, includes numerous Jews like George Soros and the 400 idiotic NY Rabbis, who Soros bought and paid for.
If Beck can ask “why” to those he ‘hates’ then what is the difference with someone asking the same of Beck.
Because Beck provides evidence of those he questions, often using their own words. You are asking questions anout Besk based on NOTHING but deliberate libel and half-truths and untruths.
If you support Israel why in the name of Allah, a.k.a. G-d, a.k.a. God, a.k.a. Hashem, a.k.a. Bhagwan, would you question someone like Beck who supports Israel far more than you do?
Perhaps it wasn’t appreciated that Laura’s comments about the ratings isn’t born out by the facts, as I highlighted.

Or, maybe my reference in the Talmud didn’t sit well.
Thank you Glen Beck for speaking the truth and having the courage and honesty to stand up for Israel in this world gone crazy. Israel welcomes all religions within her borders. There are no synagogues in Muslim lands & Abbas has said there will be no Jews allowed in any Palestinian State. Isrealis do not murder sleeping babies in cold blood & then celebrate the act, nor do they use suicide bombers to kill innocent men, women, & children going about their daily lives. Israel has shown remarkable restraint in dealing with the monstrous terrorist acts she has endured. Israelis value life. Her neighbors celebrate death.

The local station here, a bastion of Conservatism, pulled his morning radio program because the ratings dropped so precipitously
This is predictable false coming from Sharbano. Beck’s radio show shares No. 3 with Michael Savage nationwide after Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. All these are conservatives and implacable supporters of Israel.

Since this is a documented fact, what does it say about those who try to falsely and deliberately distort what Glenn Beck says? Laura says:
Sharbano, like I said, you are nitpicking. Perhaps FOX wouldn’t allow those photos to be shown.
Apparently you didn’t read post. Fox wouldn’t allow the photos of Itamar but they WOULD allow the photos of the Americans standing over the bloody bodies of their victims.
I don’t believe the ratings dropped. That is just a pretext for the station’s cowardice. His FOX program is highly rated so it stands to reason that his radio program would be as well. So far nothing Glenn Beck has claimed has been refuted because what he says is the truth. This is an administration of self-proclaimed socialists and communists.
Now how do you Know this station is cowardly. Are we just making up facts in order to suit one’s opinion. This station also plays Rush and Hannity and a business like a station is in the business of making money, which is why liberal talk radio never succeeds. According to reports his audience on Fox is also dropping. I listened to him for an hour on radio this morning and the vast majority of the program was about some Easter eggs and chocolate. Is it any wonder his rating are going down. He did get a caller, a Xtian, who had just returned from Israel and was speaking about how alone they feel. I suspect they were probably secular Jews, as the religious Jews know full well what is going on. Of course Beck also gave his support, but he only gave it about 30 seconds of air time.
I have to conclude, from some of the people here, and elsewhere, that Beck is more admired because of his hatred of Obama and his policies rather than supporting Israel. He had ample opportunity this morning, as other times, to go into some death, rather he was more concerned about some chocolate Yeshu hands. For my own part I am much more skeptical, considering the disaster called Bush, who was also saying nice things about Israel. His anti-settlement policy proved otherwise. Where was Beck when Bush was pursuing his anti-Israel policies.
It’s interesting how the Talmud relates in the end the people of the nations will come and say they did all they did “for Israel”, but will be rebuked and told they only did it for themselves.
Sharbano, like I said, you are nitpicking. Perhaps FOX wouldn’t allow those photos to be shown.

Maybe because so many non-Israeli Jews are adamant enemies of Israel
Maybe it’s just that I expect just a little bit more from those who profess such a support for “Israel” The problem with such a focus on a conspiracy is many people will just roll their eyes and just dismiss it, and what is to gain. Unfortunately his hatred of Obama and his supporters, i.e. Soros, far exceeds his support for Israel. Israel is just a passing thought, a minor piece of a grand puzzle. What Beck may be accomplishing is a self-fulfilling prediction. Now he speaks of a grand conspiracy that is targeting him. Now, is that a surprise. If you shoot at someone, they will shoot back. It’s similar to those who profess doing G-d’s will because of suffering they receive. But that suffering is all self-inflicted.
He could have accomplished a great deal more if he used an approach other than a conspiracy. Others have brought out the same information but they do it without any conspiracy theory. As a result, they sound much more credible. I daresay it may be having a deleterious effect. The local station here, a bastion of Conservatism, pulled his morning radio program because the ratings dropped so precipitously.
I would still like to know why he showed the gruesome pictures of the Americans but couldn’t allow the Fogel family’s pictures to be shown. The family did authorize their release, for the sole purpose that people should know what these people are capable of. When a person sees a picture of a 3-month old lying next to the father with the throat slit, it is not an image a person will forget. Then when a person sees the 12yr old crying her heart out, it drives it into the deepest regions of the heart. At present there is no sympathy for anyone in Israel. It’s these kind of images that can, at least, make some take a second look at the situation. They only matter that is on the radar screen is the Arabs and their quest for more of Israeli lands. Nothing about the Jews of Judea and Samaria, except for the occasional “settler” bashing. Beck could do a lot of good by simply bringing more to the forefront. Has anyone on TV, which I don’t have, seen videos of the luxurious living the Arabs have in Israel and in Gaza. It’s not the template the media wants to portray. But Beck could do this. He says he “stands with Israel”, but I’m afraid he’s standing at the back of the bus.
Sharbano said.
First, why did he always use the term, Israelis, instead of Jews.
Maybe because so many non-Israeli Jews are adamant enemies of Israel
Glenn Beck is one of the few friends of the “Jews” in the US. His influence is great and he is trying to rally support for you and your country.
The Christians believe their fate is tied to whatever happens to the Jewish people. He is one of your best friends and loudest voices in the US!
People, stop nitpicking. Glenn Beck is a mench and is clearly a friend of Israel.
A couple things I found interesting. First, why did he always use the term, Israelis, instead of Jews. Israelis can also be Arabs. Since he always says, “This doesn’t make sense”, then we can also ask, it doesn’t make sense not to specify Jews.
He brought up the Itamar massacre again and it should be kept in the forefront. Now, when he first mentioned this he said he couldn’t “show” the pictures. Yet, when it came to the soldiers of the “Kill Team”, those pictures Were shown. This is the same as what the “palestinian” Arabs do, that is, they see to it that images are given the international press. By showing the pictures of Itamar it tends to cement in a person’s mind there is a real horror. When the media only shows pictures of a happy family that is all that is reflected upon. The horror of the situation isn’t reflected upon at all. Admittedly it’s not easy to view such pictures, but it does bring a greater emotional connection to the event. If, on 9-11, all we were witness to was after the smoke had cleared there wouldn’t have been near the emotional reaction. But when a person sees an event where people literally had to jump to their death, to escape a worse death it has an effect that lasts years and years.
We also have the news that speaks of rocket attacks from Gaza. Nothing is shown of the effect on the individual, nor is it even mentioned. It’s as if nothing happened. “No one was injured”. Does this tell a complete story. Speak to the children of those attacks and see the real devastation. This is my problem with Beck and virtually all news outlets. Instead of trying to find a conspiracy, the time can be better spent giving much more information. Much is lost when the focus is a conspiracy and real lives are ignored.
Mr. Beck is only on a major network to mislead the public and think they are opposing the coming order. What Beck is saying, most Americans want and stand for. But understand, that this will not be the policy of the american leaders and unrest could happen in America as it is in other countries today.
It’s all true, but Israel doesn’t have oil and is full of Jews so it has to be sold down the Med.

No, they didn’t. It was Romans who tortured and killed Yeshua.
They are aware that he opposes Marxism/socialism and the scurrilous attempts by left wingers like you to confuse these evil philosophies with Xtianity.
Not true. Catholics, the biggest percentage of Xtianity, teaches that all good people will be saved.
Tell that to the liberal Jews in America who helped elect an anti-Semite to the presidency. Tell that to the editors of Haaretz who would ruin Israel with their philosophy.
Sharbano and Rongrand, deal with Zechariah 13:8-9.

They both produce the same results – weakening Israel. That’s what I care about, not some crazed Israeli who lives in a world of his own and needs you to protect him.
I have never asked for him to be censored – only that I be allowed to expose him every time he tries his tricks – which, by the way, make the Hamas guys very happy.
Jews killed Yeshu
AE. You keep characterizing Yamit as being anti-Israel and in doing so you are blatantly wrong. Yamit wants a strong Israel whereas J-Street for instance doesn’t. Yamit may present hardline positions that may or may not be igood for Israel but that is his right to call it like he sees it. You are not the sole arbiter of what might be good for Israel. Stop attacking him as being anti-Israel. Better still stop attacking him. You can argue all you want the point that what Yamit recommends is in fact not in Israel’s interest. I have no problem with that. Any of you comments that cross this line will be banned.
You obviously have no idea how elections work. Besides, we have no idea what the liberal Jews will do, aided and abetted by George Soros, Alan Dershowitz and the 400 Rabbis, not to mention people like you and Sharbano.
Like I said you have no idea how elections work. Every vote counts when we have a liar like Obama, backed by the entire major media, George Soros, huindreds of idiotic Rabbis and a few renegade Israelis who want to weaken Israel to the delight of Hamas.
Exposing anti-Israelis pretending to be pro-Israel can never be a waste of time. I’ll deal with the Catholics on their forums.
Catholics are not semites voting for an anti-Semite.
He still has Soros, Dershowitz, hundreds of Rabbis, Yamit, Sharbano, and a few more Democrats and liberals on this forum rooting for him while the last two pretend to support Israel.
I think that it is now under that 50% mark. He is being castigated by his own
people. The problem is not so much getting rid of him as it is of getting someone
with the charisma, resume, and stature who Americans would rather vote for. It won’t be a
slam dunk, because while most Americans are becoming disillusioned with his program(s), they
still like him as a person (can’t figure why, he is such a liar). We need someone that they
can transfer their feelings to….someone that they look up to and admire for their strength.
He has burned too many bridges and that will work against him. He has also proven that his theory
of coddling muslim thug dictators smells to high heaven. He is looked upon in the world as weak
and ineffective….certainly not what America is used to.
Hopefully? not so very long ago according to you it was a slam dunk!! Now you have doubts? less arrogantly self confident?
Even if every Jew in America voted against Obama it would not effect the outcome of any election. Matter of low numbers and the distribution of Jewish votes according to electoral college system. Now if you can persuade all those stupid Catholics to vote against him, it might just be enough to beat your boy Hussein. You’re wasting time and energy here if that’s your purpose. Go after your Catholics and we don’t have many Catholics who are pro Obama here. Not many Jews either for that matter. Hurry up those dumb Catholics are waiting to be convinced by you.
No, I didn’t. As you can see from No. 17 above, what I wrote was. No 18 was posted in error:
These Papists are all huge supporters of Israel unlike you and Sharbano.
Let me guess. They hate Israel and want to weaken it by driving a wedge between it and its only ally.
WHY?
You missed one. All the rest are Papists except Beck who isn’t a real Christian like 7th Day Adventists. I like the the Day Adventists. Ask me Why? 🙂
As anyone who follows Glenn Beck would know, any Jew who demonizes him must HATE Israel, no matter how much they may deny this. You are either with Israel and Beck, or you are intentionally or unintentionally supporting the terrorists.
Glenn Beck is not a Jew. Yet he stands up for Israel far more than most American Jews, who
have a laizer faire attitude toward that wonderful country. It is a pity that instead of
trying to find fault with a man who applauds Israel to millions of listeners, at every opportunity,
that he isn’t lauded by every Jew who loves Israel. Those that don’t can “Gay en dreard”.
Your first sentence in the excerpt highlighted above is misleading at best, false at worst. The second sentence is true with the exception of Fox News and the top ranked conservative radio talk show hosts, Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Savage, Ingraham, Levin, Boortz, Gallagher, Medved. On this list, only Levin and Medved are Jews.
Please stop whining. While Imam Obama is the most anti-semitic US president in history, even he cannot go too far because of the strong support for Israel among Americans in general.
This has little to no effect on Israel. Hopefully, he will be gone after 2012. Please help us reduce his popularity among American Jews, which is down from the absurd 78% in 2008 to about 50%, which is still ridiculously high for an antisemite like him.

You write anti-semitic postings – by deliberately twisting, libeling and demonizing the most pro-semitic media personality in America, Glenn Beck – and are allowed to post. So, what the heck are you whining about?
Why do you persist in such brazen falsehoods? I showed that Laura was right. Beck’s radio show has been ranked 3rd. behind Limbaugh and Hannity for years now. Here are the latest rankings:
http://talkers.com/online/?p=71
There is a significant division occurring among the people of America. There is still a huge amount of support for Israel, but you wouldn’t know it from watching the American news channels. The Obama Administration’s abandonment of Israel is only the latest action that has been giving the American people a serious feeling of helplessness. This is just adding the feelings of alienation that began since this government started pushing socialist agendas and unsustainable financial policies.
Our Country listens to the evil people and shuns Israel because of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ oil.
Well, I see my last comment was deleted. There was certainly nothing inflammatory about it, unless questioning the methods a person uses is inflammatory. What is striking is that someone with anti-semitic postings is alright but if there’s a disagreement with the administrator it causes consternation. You can hop on the Beck bandwagon but, as I did with Bush, you may find yourself regretting it in the future. If Beck can ask “why” to those he ‘hates’ then what is the difference with someone asking the same of Beck.
Israel just found a huge natural gas reserve off the coast. Does that count?
Here we go again. No one thinks of Arabs when using the term Israeli.
I’m afraid that you are a mole who is trying to build a small army of straw men in order to demonize Glenn Beck. Anyone with more than half a brain who watches Beck regularly can clearly see your agenda, and it’s not one favorable to either Jews or Israel.
This is predictable false coming from Sharbano. Beck’s radio show shares No. 3 with Michael Savage nationwide after Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. All these are conservatives and implacable supporters of Israel.
http://talkers.com/online/?p=71
So, why do you think Yamit and Sharbano are working so hard to demean and diminish him?
Since this is a documented fact, what does it say about those who try to falsely and deliberately distort what Glenn Beck says? This is even more egregious when it comes from a Jew or Israeli because we KNOW for a fact that Beck is one of the strongest supporters of Israel in the US media, willing to even take on the entire Soros-Obama-liberalJewish cabal.
Apparently you didn’t read post. Fox wouldn’t allow the photos of Itamar but they WOULD allow the photos of the Americans standing over the bloody bodies of their victims.
Glenn Beck almost appears to be Jewish himself. His support for Israel is astounding. I wish the Jews in America would be a supporter of the State of Israel like he is. He is truly of the Elect.
