About ten years ago I got to know Brigitte Gabriel, a woman extraordinaire. We corresponded over the years and I got to meet her in Toronto. It was like an old time reunion.
In 2006, she gave a blockbuster speech at the Heritage Institute about her experiences in Lebanon in the seventies and eighties when she was growing up, her experiences in Israel where she moved to and then in the US. Set aside an hour to listen to this speech, you won’t regret it. Its a once in a lifetime speech. And do listen to the questions and answers.
In 2002, Brigitte founded ACT for America. Under her guidance, it grew to become the largest and most important organization in America for combatting the evils of Islam. Here’s what it stands for

oh yeah, I already realized when I posted before that i need to get and research he full story etc on Brigitte Gabriel. And it wouldn’t erase her past accomplishments. It would reduce my enthusiasm for Brigitte though – back to the cynical eye on those engaged in contemporary mass politics.
Enough of this “we don’t want to insult moderate Muslim” – westerners insult religions in every way on forums every day and no one inside or outside those forums cares – no democratic “loyal” westerners that is. Anyone who can’t take the insult is not of our cultural tradition and is in fact an enemy of our culture and our countries.
The real world reason is that there are about one billion angry violent Islamolunatics which mummify the tongues of Western leftists,opportunists,politicos and cowards alike.
Obama can have Terry Jones arrested and shipped to Iran for beheading. I suppose that is the next step. How many years before we reach that stage?
Ted, Schlussel mentions more than Tudor’s (Gabriel’s) opinion on Qur’an burnings.

Don’t be too quick to embrace whatever Schlussel writes. She makes it a practice of attacking people who don’t meet her standards or views. She attacked Hannity, Geller, and now Gabriel. I am sure there are more on her list.
So what if Gabriel stops short of burning Korans. Is that any reason to attack her visciously? Every word in the first paragraph quoted drips with venom and hatred. I don’t trust her.

Debbie Schlussel used to be a promoter of Gabriel. She changed her mind a while ago. See, for example, Schlussel’s article: The Koran Burning and the Sudden Excess of Outrage:
I also view it as offensive that frauds and whores like Hanan Tudor, the fake whose entire story is false and who goes by the porn name “Brigitte Gabriel” (and who raised money for an organization that praised Muslim death, rape, and torture threats against me, my Holocaust survivor grandmother, and my parents) is using this as an opportunity to condemn free speech, raise money so she can have more expensive designer perfumes and clothes, and engage in moral equivalency comparing this mere burning to the jihadist mass murders of Christians and Jews and destruction of churches and synagogues all over the Islamic world. In her latest shameless fundraising letter, she (actually, her ghostwriter, since they write everything for her including her books) asked:
Yup, Hanan Tudor a/k/a “Brigitte Gabriel” sees burning the Koran as the same as destroying synagogues and churches. Only a moron wouldn’t know the difference and would send out such a cowering statement followed by, “Send me money” (the money being sent for no particular achievement other than being the Zsa Zsa Gabor of Arab pseudo-anti-jihadists).
That to me is far more disgusting than burning a Koran or even many Korans for three hours, even if I don’t support that act. But, then, this is the same fake who told Black churches how happy she was that Barack Obama was elected and who told Bill O’Reilly on FOX News that she praises Obama’s Muslim outreach efforts and that “he’s done a better job than Bush” on it.
She’s a paragon for sure.I’ve read a lot of her stuff. A wonderful woman, spokesperson and heroine.
