Anyone who promotes Islam should be prosecuted for incitement to genocide

What the Koran says about the infidels:-

    * Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them(2:191)
    * Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood (9:123)
    * When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them (9:5)
    * Kill the Jews and the Christians if they do not convert to Islam or refuse to pay Jizya tax (9:29)
    * Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable (3:85)
    * The Jews and the Christians are perverts; fight them (9:30)
    * Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam. (5:33)
    * The infidels are unclean; do not let them into a mosque (9:28)
    * Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies
    (22:19)
    * Do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them (47:4)
    * The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them (8:65)
    * Muslims must not take the infidels as friends (3:28)
    * Terrorise and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an (8:12)
    * Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorise the infidels (8:60)

The Canadian Criminal Code (and that of many other western nations) provides:

318. (1) Every one who advocates or promotes genocide is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years.

(2) In this section, “genocide” means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy in whole or in part any identifiable group, namely,

(a) killing members of the group; or
(b) deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction…

(4) In this section, “identifiable group” means any section of the public distinguished by colour, race, religion, ethnic origin or sexual orientation.
319. (1) Every one who, by communicating statements in any public place, incites hatred against any identifiable group where such incitement is likely to lead to a breach of the peace is guilty of

(a) an indictable offence and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years; or
(b) an offence punishable on summary conviction.

(2) Every one who, by communicating statements, other than in private conversation, wilfully promotes hatred against any identifiable group is guilty of

(a) an indictable offence and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years; or
(b) an offence punishable on summary conviction.

(3) No person shall be convicted of an offence under subsection (2)

(a) if he establishes that the statements communicated were true;
(b) if, in good faith, the person expressed or attempted to establish by an argument an opinion on a religious subject or an opinion based on a belief in a religious text;
(c) if the statements were relevant to any subject of public interest, the discussion of which was for the public benefit, and if on reasonable grounds he believed them to be true; or
(d) if, in good faith, he intended to point out, for the purpose of removal, matters producing or tending to produce feelings of hatred toward an identifiable group in Canada…

If a person endorses the Koran or teaches what it preaches, they have premitted a crime of Incitement to genocide.  None of the defeces provided would avail to acquit them.

  1. Belman:

The US Code is different from the Canadian Code. In its definition of Geocide it includes “with the specific intent to destroy, in whole or in substantial part, a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group as such” whereas the Can Code says “in whole or in part”. The word “substantial’ was left out. That is not to say that the Koran doesn’t meet the US definition

I see where you are going with that statement, Perhaps then The U.S. courts might rule a certain religious group is guilty of deicide. The killing of a deity, namely Jesus of Nazareth.

In the prosecution for genocide in Srebrenica, I believe there was a conviction but the number of people killed was very much in question

  3. Remember the words of the Koran: Surah 5:59 Say: O People of the Scripture! (referring to Jews)… 60 …whom Allah hath cursed, him on whom His wrath hat fallen! Worse is he of whose sort Allah hath turned some to apes and swine…
Words of Intelligence? I don’t think so.

  4. Yamit, I am far from politically correct. I’ll have to dig up the relevant laws here in the states and see though 🙂

Do that and let me know what you discover. 😉

  5. If America can edit or ban ‘Huckleberry Finn. why not the Koran? Remove the word religion prefix to Islam and the koran and you have no clearer case for incitement and sedition. Shouldn’t be hard to prove in a court of law, even as a recognized religion.

Of-course idiot Americans and Israelis are too politically correct and fearful to try something as simple as testing my assumption in a court of law.

  6. Perhaps Obama, Hillary and the other pusillanimous politicians in both parties and talk show hosts can explain just why this book deserves respect. Ironically while they say burning it amounts to incitement, the passages from the koran itself amount to incitement to violence against non-muslims.
