  1. I am finishing up Sarah Palin book “Going Rouge” and I am impressed. She does have character and the instincts. Most of all she is not political. She will be a major player in the future elections. If not elected herself, she will be very helpful and instrumental in aiding the conservative movement.

  2. Paln’s got the character and the instincts. I saw eye to eye with Sarah on this.

    Joy, I do agree that we must select the person most likely to dethrone Obama.

  4. Not all Christians, I should add, but when entire denominations do this sort of thing it’s disgusting and more than an aberration.

  5. During the past week, the Presbyterians and the Methodists have both called for boycotts of little Jewish Israel (and only Israel). I try not to hate Christians, I really do, but they’re making it real hard.

  6. I’ve heard he was at our house but I was too young to remember. Dad’s show business associate I remember best was Fred Travalena, who was just the nicest, most talented guy. I always thought he should be a big star. There’s a lot of luck involved.

    This was the running disagreement I had with her over Palin and instincts. How does one evaluate the instincts of another before an event? What if my instincts are not honed putting my own good judgment in doubt? I go for Character, take BB married three times abandoned his first wife and kid and has been a serial adulterer with all his wives. Should we expect more from the likes of him in other real life situations? To the extent possible I look for character like loyalty, honesty, modesty. Good instincts are a plus but we can know only after the fact. I do agree with your dad that policies should not be given too much importance. Circumstances can change and all politicians lie. Your dad was a very smart guy. I believe he was a ten per-center? Lenny Bruce was a favorite of mine.

She was confident she understood Palin’s instincts. I don’t trust any politician, but I mistrust some much more. I need to hear Christie interviewed a few time. Sometimes, you can tell bad instincts not by what they say but by the way they say it. Lindsay Graham makes me nauseous even when we agree. Everything about the guy screams untrustworthy.

    Lets say he goes on a crash diet, fasting 3-4 days a week etc. small price to pay for getting to be numero uno.

    Illegals and abortion a downer with conservative Republicans but maybe he picks up enough independents to compensate. Who will the conservatives then vote for, Obama? They don’t vote or hold their noses for a Christie.Except for the Jews Blacks and Hispanics he will lose a lot of Democratic votes. I see almost anybody giving Barak Hussein a run for the money.

    Problem with America is that any electable candidate won’t be too different than Hussein, policy-wise that is.

  10. He’s pro-abortion and pro-illegal alien. I’m unsure about his position on Israel, but the illegal aliens are troubling because it means he has a misplaced sense of social justice just like the liberals. I don’t want a Republican Obama who identifies with Hamas. Looks matter in this life. I wonder if our black president could’ve been elected if he were black and fat or black and cross-eyed.

    The thing I like about Christie is that his target is public sector unions. They’re bleeding taxpayers dry. Christie’s made it his issue, I think Obama is real vulnerable with all his corrupt union ties. I could see Christie riding that issue to victory, if the fat thing doesn’t do him in.

Americans haven’t elected a fat president since Taft a hundred years ago, and he was kind of a fluke. I think something like seventy percent of Americans are now overweight, so the numbers are right but will fat people support a fat guy for president?
