    Hmmm…

    And that’s that!

So much for North Koreans and blackouts.

  2. You know Ayn I feel like the luckiest person on earth and a day doesn’t go by that I don’t thank G-d for those girls, I wouldn’t trade them for anything. I am very fortunate to have them both growing up at our office. Grace is now in school and the youngest comes to the office every day with her dad and I feel very lucky to spend that much time with them. G-d am I lucky.

  3. The important thing is that soccer gives her the opportunity to kick other children in the shins without being punished.

That she does. She called me earlier to make sure I was going to her game. I drove over to their home and rode with them, the wife wasn’t able to attend because she was at a church function.

After the game I got her and her sister nachos and cheese and Grace love to toy with my Chocolate touch phone. She handles it better than I do. She sends tech messages. I haven’t sent a tech message yet.

A touch phone for a guy who is all fingers in not a good idea. She says, Pop pop you only use the phone and nothing else. I tell her, honey Pop pop is lucky he is able to just the phone and sometimes I even blow that. I would be better off going back to my plain flip phone.

  4. Trust me my 9yr old granddaughter is no Mia Haam and we don’t expect her to be but her team without having any practice up against others community teams that do, they become victims of an on slaughter.

  5. Soccer in a thunder storm sounds like fun.

Well it didn’t rain and no thunder storm thank goodness although it would have been better had it.

Trust me my 9yr old granddaughter is no Mia Haam and we don’t expect her to be but her team without having any practice up against others community teams that do, they become victims of an on slaughter.

She is not bothered by it, just having fun. That’s what it’s all about.

  7. I still can’t get over the attitude of the liberal American Jews. Are discussions regarding Israel forbidden at the synagogues?

    Comment by rongrand — May 2, 2010 @ 7:27 pm

Liberal Jews don’t go to synagogues.

    They go to temples.

  8. Ayn, by now you must know I am one confused individual, but that’s the story of my life, so my wife and sons say.

It’s hot and humid right now and we are expecting heavy thunder storms later, waiting to see if they will call my granddaughters soccer game for this afternoon.

I still can’t get over the attitude of the liberal American Jews. Are discussions regarding Israel forbidden at the synagogues?

  9. That is a divorce just waiting to happen.

Sorry about that, didn’t know you were married.

Irreconcilable difference means one can but refuses to see, won’t listen and won’t read? Poor chap must be suffering from the same disease.

He should seek help before a divorce takes hold and is final. Where there is life there is hope.

  10. Ayn, let’s say if you decide to marry you

    A perfect match!

    I beg you to reconsider

First I was for it. Now I’m against it.

    A perfect match!

  13. Thank you, ron.

My role model would be Lily Munster, whom I believe exhibited patience and strength in dealing with her family.

  14. Love it.

No one breaks wind like Susan Lucci, which helps to explain her difficulty in securing an Emmy.

It had nothing to do with her ability to act.

They just didn’t want her at the ceremony.

  15. But I am not going to get married if it means having to give up flatulence.

    Comment by ayn reagan — May 2, 2010 @ 5:42 pm

Far be it from the truth!

Have you never watched the Jewish family soap opera, “All My Chulent”?

  16. But I am not going to get married if it means having to give up flatulence.

As the Jewish theologian Meat Loaf wrote many centuries ago, “I’ll Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)”.

If you invite me to your wedding, I’ll give you one of these as a gift.

  18. Where were you last Monday?

  19. Ayn – now THAT’s an established source. (Not sure what he meant by that, by the way… I guess I should have written a quasi-legal caveat that said something along the lines: “assuming that these photographs do in fact represent what happened when one of the oil rig (assuming the photographs were actually those of a burning oil rig) workers forgot about his breakfast sausages, then…”)

  20. When you consider locale and magnitude, the answer becomes fairly clear.

  21. Hard drives . I kept and saved some data but most that was integral with windows was lost. This time around I save everything externally.

Next week I think I will reinstall the old version XP pro I don’t have the patience to learn a whole new system after it took me so long to get a handle on XP.

Anyway I see you all have been active. I am going to spend some time reviewing what I missed.

    Thanks for the advice.

    Established source?

    conspiracy story

Hmmm… That’s one pretty massive explosion for something that was apparently caused by someone burning his morning sausages…

Oil wells do also contain gas, which is of course explosive – far more than oil which merely burns – but the oilmen have the know-how to avoid problems caused by gas. I don’t know if you have ever been in a chemical plant, particularly one that deals with flammable or potentially explosive substances, but the level of safety (interlocks, suppression devices, etc.) is pretty spectacular. So my take on this “morning sausage explosion” situation is that somebody external to the rig caused it.

Given all that, what would you suggest caused such a massive explosion?

  24. That leaves wind, wave, solar and thermal.

I was a solar engineer in another life. Try frying an egg with that lot…

  25. Did the motherboard literally burn up, taking your disk drive with it? Those sneaky North Koreans!

    Windows 7? You’ll catch on.

  26. Where oh where is my little yamit?

    Is he doing time?

    Is he fighting crime?

    Is he in a cup?

    Is he downside up?

    I’m still here!
My computer main board burned up Fri. am too late to replace it so today I bought a new computer but I lost all my data, different windows I will need to learn how to use it and it will take sometime to replace what I can of lost everything. I spent the weekend catching up on sleep.

  27. The car bomb in NYC was timed curiously close to the well exposion though. Hmmm.

C’mon! Not a week ever goes by anymore within some attempt at devastation by the Musselmen.

  28. If it wasn’t sabotage, it sure is agood idea, were I a terrorist. A few well place RPG’s Wow that could destroy American economy with only 5-10 good producing wells and there are thousnds to choose from.

Nuclear power now outof the question, coal while plentiful air pollutant and oil? forget it. That leaves wind, wave, solar and thermal.

I would look to see who has the most economic vested interest before I go looking for terrorists. Accident?: the most likley cause, human error/carelessness still ring true. BP certainly didn’t want to be stuck the the Bill of potentially tens of billions of dollars and law suits for the next 20 years.

The car bomb in NYC was timed curiously close to the well exposion though. Hmmm.

  29. Since when does anyone send SWAT teams to inspect potential sabotage locations? The report doesn’t jive.

  30. Isn’t it odd though, that just a couple weeks ago, BHO approved drilling off-shore. That was SO unlike
a liberal, to even suggest that… makes ya wonder… also another thing, he sends SWAT teams to other
off-shore oil rigs to “inspect” them – guess those guys know a lot more about oil rigs than, say,
petroleum engineers and designers of oil rigs… again, make ya wonder…
