73% of Israelis ‘Dissatisfied’ with Bibi’s Handling of Terror

T. Belman. I think that the attacks on Bibi are justified only in part.  It is easy for me to be critical of him especially when I don’t know the threats that Israel is under and the potential consequences. I have some basic disagreements with his policies but at the same time I cut him some slack.

New survey find 35% of Israelis ‘dissatisfied,’ 38% ‘very dissatisfied’ with Bibi’s leadership in face of recent terror.

By Matt Wanderman, INN

A new survey has found that Israelis are strongly disappointed with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s leadership during the ongoing wave of terror attacks.

Almost three quarters of respondents said that they are either “dissatisfied” (35 percent) or “very dissatisfied” (38 percent) with Prime Minister Netanyahu’s handing of the security situation.

Instead, 22 percent said that Yisrael Beytenu head Avigdor Liberman would be the most capable leader at the moment, followed by Jewish Home head Naftali Bennett with 17 percent. Only 15 percent of those surveyed felt Netanyahu is the best person to lead the country at this time.

Seventy-nine percent of people claimed that they feel less safe in recent weeks than they had beforehand.

The survey was commissioned by Channel 2 and carried out by Midgam.

Sham kavur ha’kelev… Local Hebrew say for… There is the source of the rot.
None, and we mean NONE within the present systems of government are to be considered for leadership. A few may be considered as district reps.
We ask for the people, directly, and OUTSIDE the present controlled system, to vote for a new system of government and totally new, vetted JEWISH, candidates for the NEW Jewish National CONGRESS.
Voting for individuals, not parties, each representing like in the US, a defined district.
If the people elects a Presidential system then elections for President will ensue. The same applies for a Parliamentary system.
If the people decides on returning to a Kingdom, vetted House of King David persons may vie for the Crown.
The People will also elect Sheriff’s and Judges. Directly.
The Military command will be selected by the Congress.
Islamic activists must be removed from here, Muslims in numbers mst equal the number of Jews allowed in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Syria, Iraq combined. Not one more.
The number of mosques made to be equal in number to the number of Synagogues allowed in the above countries.
The Land of Israel will be the original land of the Jewish people. Not a cm less.
Muslims will be allowed to own land equal in size to the land owned by Jews in the above Muslim, Islamic countries and kingdoms.

  2. @ SHmuel HaLevi 2:
Okay haver, I defer to your eye witness testimony. From where, may I ask, are these “true leaders” to be found and by whom. The USA suffers from the same malady. Look at the democratic leaders and their failure to do the right thing when the iran nuclear Deal was debated. Total bankruptcy. Even the few democrats who did not support Obama, made certain that the measure would pass without them, kind of exactly like what Netanyahu and Ya’alon did on The Gaza Disengagement. Quite the “gang-renous” maneuver.
Who cares about The Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria. not in theory but in practice. If Israel can not or will not do it correctly, let them defend themselves and support their aspirations to create a second Jewish homeland.

  3. @ woolymammoth:
Ir is no longer viable to accept as standard the MAPAI fabricated self electing pseudo demokratiah.
Within the combina’s cauldron is the same stew that has been rotting in there for decades.
The stinking thing cannot be used to fish out of it more :leaders:.
I live in the midst of the facts in the ground.
The Jewish people either gets a grip on reality or we will be all slaughtered while Netanyahu speeches and makes faces.
It is not the soldiers or cops fault, it is the “leadership”.
The whole setting must go and the people must select FROM outside the pot TRUE LEADERS.

  4. The plo were out and then Rabin and Peres brought them back, Arafat and company…in the name of peace….please. ask Caroline Glick about her role in negotiating Oslo, ask Steinitz about his peace now days. The country accepted Peres as their President, you must be jesting, you are as much a “dinosaur” as am I, SHmuel. The practical alternative to The Coalition, includes leftist parties. You know better than I do how these things run their course and it is still early. Shamir would have never put up with this war of attrition and neither would Begin, at least when he was young. If I could designate an emergency replacement for Netanyahu, right now, I would look seriously at Uzi Landau, if he was willing and able. Face it, Netanyahu has deep roots.

  5. the current escalation, accompanied by the disintegration of the institutional order in the PA, contains the seeds of decline and loss of control. It therefore requires an Israeli response that is both direct and indirect, immediate and for the longer term, and public and behind-the-scenes. At the same time, the Israeli government should avoid misleading the Israeli public about its ability to put a complete end to terrorism. With all the difficulty involved, the Israeli public must understand the reality of conflict management in a situation such as the current one, in which Palestinian violence draws its inspiration from religion and the regional upheaval.

This article is an analytical approach to what is happening, which does not mean I agree with it but it is worth thinking about

If correct the only solution to the problem as many of us know instinctively is Meir Khane’s. However that said how likely is that? Slim or Non?

  6. In the end if the public do not feel Bibi is safeguarding them he will fall and that will be the end of him.

Who will be the next leader of Israel? No one obvious is around.

  7. It is not longer rational to continue with the gruesome farce that is the Netanyahu constellation.
The fact is that we lost track of how many stabbings have occurred in the last two hours. And rock throwing is not even counted.
It is not up to the humiliated soldiers and police people. This is a ghastly leadership failure.
NOTHING has been done, I mean DONE, to stop the beasts.
Lip flapping around is NOT IT. We need to smash the root, core, of the enemies.
The marauding Islamic beasts are trained, directed and paid to do it.
WE must have leaders ready to round up the principals and attend to them.
The whole plo must be packed and shipped out.
    Its supporters dealt with harshly.
We are seeing the final result of decades of Oslo rubber bullets and paint ball military.

  8. @ bernard ross:
@ bernard ross: Netanyahu is afraid that by taking the law into their own hands, there would be irreversible outcomes;the “settlers”, as you call them, you will never catch me referring to the Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria that way, but that is another matter. I would refer interested readers to the excellent book, Phantom Nation by Ben-Tekoa. I disagree that Netanyahu would allow his hour by hour security measures to be a function of commitments he has made to Saudi Arabia and/or Egypt. I find that an even better reason to LOL than the example you cited earlier. However, I do believe there is a fluid consensus with The U.S. that it is by definition, a red flag for the Jewish Residents of Judea and Samaria to take the law into their own hands, as that would and does give ammunition to those who would equate “extremists” from both sides and result in pressure on Israel to treat the Jews the same as the others. The attacks on The Jewish residents of J/S are meant to bait them to respond in kind, so Abbas, The EU, The Pope, to name a few prominent ones can demand that The UN step in to protect the “Palestinians” and then to impose their imperfect solution, which will be a perfect disaster. Now, once again, I am not arguing with your facts of events, at all. it is the interpretation of these facts where we differ. If Netanyahu was as black and white as you portray him, he could have easily formed a coalition with Herzog and Lieberman and even Shas. If he intended to buckle and do the dirty deal which would result in a terrorist state in Israel’s pericardial sac, he could have made secret understandings with Livni and Herzog, did he?
The way I see Netanyahu’s talk of bringing in Herzog/Livni and banishing Bennet and company is a warning to all those who he fears would ambush him from The Right, to back off and think twice before you mess going public with confidential security related polemics. He is speaking to Bennet, careful Bennet, I warned you not to betray me. Is Netanyahu paranoid? Probably, you would be too, I know I would.
Now, my main point, in a nutshell, I feel strongly, as I believe you do that the Jewish residents of J/S have every right to defend themselves. I would also agree that Israel has not done nearly what it should have done to protect Jewish life in Yesha. The solution is not Glick’s book or any of the other failed recipes. There should develop within J/S the resources to declare independence which would result in a second Jewish State, to live alongside Israel in peace. There is much more to be written…later.

  9. SHmuel HaLevi 2 Said:

I would guess that Weinstein and the supreme courtiers will not allow that.

Yes, the 3 political covers: obama, weinstein and the court
Who put weinstein in his position as the one who shoots down all right wing agenda that BB cannot himself obstruct?
    SHmuel HaLevi 2 Said:

    Admirable objectives spoken by Netanyahu.

the key word is “spoken”, if he is forced to implement his spoken words we can bet on weinstein or the court shooting it down. Which is why weinstein is there and shakeds bill was obstructed… all coincidence?

  10. woolymammoth Said:

This will empower Netanyahu to act.

so you beleive that the PM who argued with obama in congress and got 90% of congress to attend over obama attempts against the speech is powerless to act in his own nation against an existential enemy trying to kill Jews because of Obama? So BB is a defacto obama puppet who cannot move without the obama ok? do you not see how you are grasping at straws?

  11. woolymammoth Said:

This will empower Netanyahu to act. If Ya’alon acts as an Obama monkey wrench in the works, FIRE HIM and replace him with Bennet.

LOL, you dont get it…. Yaalon is BB’s henchman, his choice, his appointment, no one twisted his arm to appoint Yaalon, no political party with seats forced him to choose Yaalon…… he was put there because BB wanted him there in order to obstruct the settler movement as yaalon runs YS. His prior experience which qualified him for the position was his drawing up the plans which dragged Jews kicking and screaming from gaza. He is the loudest voice carrying the lynch mob libel that framed settlers for the duma arson which allowed BB to come up with a detention law against right wing jews and settlers. All this is in keeping with BB’s other moves against feiglin and bennett, and shakeds bill to limit the court. Yaalon is BB point man in YS intentionally.

  12. woolymammoth Said:

Netanyahu, who is without a doubt, being dictated to by Obama, Kerry, EU to use minimal force,

no, he has been restrained for years becuase he wishes to maintain his understandings with the gulf and sunni arabs who are weakening hezubllah and instructing Sisi to cooperate on Hamas. Look back and see the facts as they unfolded over the last few years. Obama is always trotted out as the fig leaf to cover his moves… did obama and the euros instruct him to incarcerate jews without evidence, did they instruct him to libel the settler movement with a lynch mob bandwagon which he used as a cover to trot through the anti jew detention law? He appears very enthusiastic to go beyond the call of his instructions. You should consider an alternative rational explanation to your faith, hope and dreams….. watch as he continues to get rid of benett and opens to the leftist union.

  13. Admirable objectives spoken by Netanyahu.
Outlawing the Islamic Movement within Israel.
    Pressing charges against Zoabi.
I would guess that Weinstein and the supreme courtiers will not allow that. Should the two arch enemies mentioned, by some miracle allow the two objectives, that must be complemented, to be of any consequence, by destroying the Islamic armed groups financed by the UN and Iran now operating in Eretz Israel.
Both Hamas and the plo must be terminated.
Then we would find willing Hamulas to talk with.

  14. @ woolymammoth:
Netanyahu is desperately trying to get Abbas to slow down the hordes. This is from insiders in the LIKUD.
He is also ready to “unite” with Shelob Livni and her mate. At all costs.
Regrettably for him few are interested on saving his derriere.
    Lets wait and see.

  15. As I have written in previous post 24 to 48 hours ago, it is important for The Israeli Public to protest, as they see if, the measures undertaken by the government in light of the Terror War which has been initiated against Jewish Israelis by The United Terrorist Forces, which includes Abbas and the so called pa, hamas and all the rest whatever names you wish to give them, is acceptable, working as it should. Obviously, now, the answer is a resounding, “no”.
Netanyahu, who is without a doubt, being dictated to by Obama, Kerry, EU to use minimal force, can now argue he has no choice but to implement the next level of protections, despite the wishes of Obama and Company. Obama will just have to give his okay, unless he has a better idea to protect Jews. Obama is not interested in protecting Jews, so he will have no ideas worthy of consideration.
Israelis need to turn up the heat, organize rallies, do whatever it takes to get the media’s attention. A hunger strike, whatever, something original for the brightest people on earth should not be such a great challenge. This will empower Netanyahu to act. If Ya’alon acts as an Obama monkey wrench in the works, FIRE HIM and replace him with Bennet. It’s a no brainier.

  16. They must be all wrong. Netanyahu is, according to some mental basket cases, to be made only aleatory to the disasters in front of us. The gruesome liar, betrayer speechster is guilty of the disasters we face.
The public must understand that the renegade cadre USES citizens on the basis of a military trade mark. MTCCR
    Maximum Tolerable Civilian Casualty Rate.
We are basically cannon fodder on behalf of the nefarious “peace industry”. Thar includes civilians and our young drafted to “serve”. You will notice that civilians seldom get firearms permits. Also notice that soldiers are virtually prohibited to act in self defense.
In the last hours and in desperation Mime Minister Netanyahu allowed a few true terrorists terminations.
Meanwhile the repugnant item leading… the military sent to solitary confinement innocent JEWS.

I expect total surrender in a short while. That was all along Netanyahu’s plan.
