Alarms of Danger Hitting Jordan

“The most dangerous thing [against Jordan] now is the movement to hold a conference at the Began Center of Intelligence about Jordan being the solution. The points of discussions include the form of the Jordanian states and concepts that bring a coup against Jordan’s constitution and national identity of Jordan. From the points of discussion and the concepts, this is a provocative message by all means and desires that the Jordanian state stops at those.
“There are Jordanians participating, and the state must take all deterring measures, and the Jordanian state’s mind must be firm in reacting to these pro-coup stances and to punish those taking part and also recall the Jordanian ambassador and take all legal and diplomatic measures to stand in the face of these major changes to come, which target the national security and have put together a full program on purpose aimed at creating a perfect picture for the reader and for the mind of the Jordanian state as well as the consciousness of the Jordanian citizen, who, by the way, shall never tolerate anyone touching our national security, and is willing to give away his blood and soul for that.
“Perhaps we should raise above internal issues of conflict and instead, fortify and strengthen our home front, and renew the tools of public work through those who we see as potential helpers of his majesty the king, the military and security establishment, so we could become a unified hand against the conspiracies.

The King obviously takes us seriously. I hope you do too.
There are many proposed alternate solutions to the Arab/Jew conflict. None of them are trouble free. None are supported by a majority of Jewish Israelis. All of them envisage Israel keeping all land west of the Jordan River. All of them struggle with what to do with the Palestinians.
Mudar Zahran, a Palestinian/Jordanian, has been working on a plan for the last 6 years and I have worked closely with him. We call the Plan, “The Jordan Option.”
I explained the plan in The Ultimate Alternate Israel-Palestine Solution.
The Plan requires the US to change Jordan from a monarchy to a parliamentary democracy. In effect we are asking the US to end the Jordanian monarchy and to install Mudar Zahran and the Jordan Opposition Coalition as the ruling party.
This new government will fully enfranchise the Palestinians, living in Jordan, who constitute 75% of the population, and will give citizenship to all Palestinians in Israel, Judea and Samaria and in the refugee camps. It will invite all such Palestinians to emigrate to Jordan.
The new government will also promote a friendly relationship with Israel which will include economic and security cooperation.
When this new government is put in place, Israel would incentivize Palestinians in Judea and Samaria to emigrate to Jordan and would annex all the land west of the Jordan River.
As you can appreciate, Mudar and I are seen as mortal enemies of Hamas, PLO, Fatah and King Abdullah.
To promote this Plan we have organized an all day conference on The Jordan Option – The Ultimate Alternate Solution to be held on October 17/17 at the Begin Center in Jerusalem.
