PJTN continues to roll out the significant data we shared in Washington, D.C. last week. As you’ve been aware, we have assembled a team of top experts across multiple disciplines, who over the past two years have exhaustively researched, investigated and subsequently developed our White Paper report. Addressed in this comprehensive report is an alarming overview of the growing issues of biased and inaccurate curriculum and instructional materials being used in the instruction of our children in classroom settings across America.
A classic example of the propaganda being peddled in American schools is happening in Minnesota—not surprisingly right in the proverbial backyard of Ilhan Omar. School districts within the state have brought in an “equality studies” organization run by Dr. Muhammad Khalifa, head of Adjusted Equity Solutions (AES), who is a supposed expert specializing in “bias recognition education and training in schools.”
Unfortunately for Minnesota school children, Dr. Khalifa has his own problems. He’s closely associated with the Muslim American Society-Islamic Circle of North America (MAS-ICNA), a Muslim Brotherhood affiliate. His “equality survey” for Minnesota schools includes a push to infuse Islam into the state’s curriculum. An equality survey mailing to Minnesota parents was orchestrated by Sherief Elabbady, who has a long association with antisemitism and anti-Israel propaganda on Facebook.
When posts such as “Jerusalem Is the Capital of Palestine” and “End The Israel Occupation” were traced back to his connection with school equality by a conservative watchdog group, the Facebook page was scrubbed and his name changed.
Recommendations to amplify Islam in every day school life include providing daily prayer spaces, prayer washing spaces, and space for Friday prayer and fasting came as a focus of the survey, while “Christian Privilege and Islamophobia” were identified as major challenges in school settings.
The basic take-away for Minnesota schools: Infuse curriculum and school activities with MORE intellectual traditions that originate in the Muslim world.
Tax payer dollars were used to support this biased campaign. Imagine the outrage if a school district brought in a Christian or Jewish organization to affect the curriculum? The separation of “church and state” in America is rapidly narrowing into a one way street going in the wrong direction.
The inclusion of anti-American, antisemitic and anti-Judeo/Christian, as well as an increase of biased pro-Islam values in our children’s instructional materials K-12 has been identified as a strong link in fueling the alarming rise of anti-American sentiments and antisemitic actions being witnessed on secondary school campuses.
My conversational emphasis with legislators last week in D.C. was one to inform and educate them on the biases and inaccuracies being presented in American education and to challenge them that changes must be addressed. Standards must be re-evaluated and greater public input and transparency must be implemented in the textbook/curricula review process. Our state legislatures must change the way educational materials used by American students are adopted and approved, and be vigilant in assuring that such materials are not in violation of our U.S. and State Constitutions.

We are in a very real war for the social, moral, spiritual and political minds of our next generation of leadership in America. The battlefront is the classroom and, America, as we know it, hangs in the balance. It is a war for the future of our children and our children’s children and generations to come. It’s a war that we cannot afford to lose.
Ronald Reagan said it best: Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction; We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on to them to do the same.
