1.Keep asking friends and family to add their names to the website. The more people we have, the better the chance that we can make a difference in a close race in your state. Commit to finding five people to add their names. They do not have to be in your state. Comb your email lists.
2.Write letters to both the local media and mainstream media, contesting distorted coverage of Trump. If you do not know what to write in a letter to the editor, email your state director info about the article (URL if you know it and/ or name of paper, date, author if any and title) in question and they will get back to you with talking points or even a draft letter for you to personalize and sign.
Be proactive and write letters to the editor expressing support for Trump. Even if it is not published,if the papers start getting a volume of letters identifying yourself as a Jew for Trump, they may write an article about this grassroots movement. Commit to writing at least one letter a week.
1. Call in to local talk radio shows to express your support for Trump. Many of you wrote articulately to us your reasons as Jewish Americans for supporting Trump. Your community needs to hear those views. Email your state director the phone in number of your local radio talk hosts that you listen to so we can share that info with the group. If you get on the air, email your state director so he knows. Be sure to look at the attached letter and op-ed and focus on those points. Stay as positive as possible – just bashing Hillary is not the most effective way to recruit more voters!
2. Keep informed of Jewish events in your area where you and we can hand out Trump campaign literature. If you don’t have campaign literature, hand out copies of the op-ed (attached). Tell your state director of locally planned Jewish community events so we can get people there. The state director will email you information about those he knows about.
3. Are you willing to have a parlor meeting with like-minded or at least open minded friends? If so, please let your director know right away so we can plan with you. Given the holiday schedule in October, we should plan for doing events in September. Why not plan to have a group over to watch the first debate on September 26?
Write your director your ideas of how we can find and excite Jewish voters for Trump.
1. We have included below in this email an op-ed published in The Forward which we wrote on Why Jews Choose Trump and a letter to send to friends. Send them to your friends.
Use the op-ed as a handout at meetings. Use it as the basis for submitting an op-ed to your local Jewish newspaper or as the basis for a letter to the editor. Borrow freely from them.
We are in the count down days for saving our children’s future.
Please find the time during these next 70+ days to fight for the kind of country and world we want to leave them.
Dori Parker and Carol Greenwald
Dear Friend, We know that you care about the danger posed by Iran to the U.S., to Israel and to Western Civilization. If you want our government to do everything it can to prevent Iran from becoming a genocidal nation with nuclear weapons, we want you to listen and understand why we are asking you to join with us in the fight to ensure that this country has Donald Trump at the helm in January and not Hillary Clinton. We explained our position in the op-ed we penned, which ran in The Forward last week, and which we reproduced for you below. Please consider copying and sending it on, or post it on social media. If you look at the map of the USA,(below) you’ll see how widespread is the belief that this election is critical to staunching the loss of security for us and those whom we love. On our websiteJews Choose Trump we are posting the articles you may not otherwise see, which explain the important positions of our candidate and which show how much better Trump is on the issues than is Hillary?Important Articles In addition, we have begun posting Donald Trump’s position papers on the site, starting with his home run statement on how, as president, he plans to protect our nation from terrorism.Trump on Keeping America Safe Please check out what we have posted.Share with us your thoughts for promoting the only candidate who will fight back against the Nuclear Iran Deal and who will help the security and safety of Israel. Help our movement grow by sharing our information with like-minded ( or open-minded) friends, and encourage them to join us. If we work together, we can help win this election and protect us all.. Why Jews Should Vote for Trump |
We are convinced Donald Trump is the right candidate to choose in this presidential election for two reasons. Those reasons are Iran and Israel. Iran – the primary financial supporter of global terrorism – poses an existential danger to Western values, culture and life. Israel opposes that mortal threat to Jews and the West. And it is the sanctuary of the Jewish people. JewsChooseTrump.org is not seeking to persuade those who scoff at the danger of the first and at the importance of the second. Their priorities and values lead them in a different direction. But for those who abhor the values and violence of the Islamic Republic of Iran and who cherish the Jewish State, we hope you’ll listen. For one brief, shining moment about a year ago, we had attained the Holy Grail (l’havdil) of modern Jewry: virtually all Jews were united in fighting to prevent approval of the “Iran Deal.” We agreed then it was an existential issue. Where did you all go? Many American Jews now have self-inflicted amnesia about their commitment to defeating that cataclysmic deal and the rest of global Islamic terrorism, perhaps because they have regressed to other priorities, such as reproductive rights, policing, or political party purity. But reproductive rights and every other domestic issue is controlled by either state or the federal legislatures, the president does not have exclusive control over them, as is the case with foreign policy, as enshrined in our Constitution. So here are two stark choices. One, presidential candidate Donald J. Trump, who has consistently opposed the Iran Deal and who has pledged to do everything in his power to overturn it. And then there is Hillary Clinton, who started rolling the negotiations for the Iran Deal and who slapped AIPAC with her claim that the Iran Deal “has made the world safer.” Whom will you choose? If, like us, you still believe the Iran Deal is catastrophic and the United States must do all we can to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons, the only choice is to vote for Trump. The second reason we founded www.JewsChooseTrump.org is because the security of Israel and of all Israelis is one of our highest priorities. If Israel is vitally important to you, your choice is clear: Donald Trump. True, early on Trump claimed he could work out a deal between the Israelis and the Arabs. But he listened and learned and brought in stalwart and knowledgeable Israel advisers. Those advisers have each worked for Trump for more than a dozen years. They know the man, they trust him and he trusts them. Trump’s Israel advisers worked with legislators and advocates to write and help pass the incomparable Republican Party Platform Israel plank. That plank could not be achieved under previous party candidates; only Trump’s advisers resisted the pressure of those who sought more “evenhandedness” towards the Arabs rather than recognizing and protecting the historic and legal rights of Israel. Trump’s opponent is Hillary Clinton: she of the public Suha Arafat smooch, given right after Suha lied about Israel poisoning gas to poison Arab women and children. Hillary, who bragged about her scathing verbal attack on Netanyahu for daring to approve building of homes for Jews in Jerusalem. Hillary, for years the recipient of financial and other support from American Jews, counts among her closest advisers Huma Abedin, whose family is entrenched with the Muslim Brotherhood, and the anti-Israel Sidney Blumenthal, whose son Max’s vicious anti-Israel ravings were remarked on approvingly by Hillary in those infamous secret emails. While Donald Trump chose Mike Pence, an ardent supporter of Israel as a running mate, Hillary Clinton chose J Street’s darling, Tim Kaine, who boycotted Bibi’s speech to Congress. Trump committed to moving the American Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem; Hillary won’t. There are other reasons to support Trump over Clinton. His response to the Iranian threat is elemental to his clear-sightedness about the real danger facing America and the free world. He knows it is radical Islam. Clinton refuses to acknowledge that radical Islam is at war with us, she pretends these are people who need better jobs. ISIS proclaims they will be at war with us until we embrace their ideology. Trump names that truth. Clinton’s refusal to see it has made the world a more dangerous place and endangers our children’s future. A vote for Hillary Clinton (or refusing to vote) is to dismiss the importance of America’s security. Also frightening, and true, is that if she becomes president, Clinton will be playing to her party’s Left, seeking approval from the heretofore fringe, now growing radical and anti-Israel wing of the Democratic party. We choose Trump because we believe he will keep America, Israel and the free world safe from the dangers we face. If you agree, please join us at JewsChooseTrump.org. |
Trump/Pence is the clear choice for the pro-Israel voter and for Americans who are concerned about national security. Trump suffers no confusion as to who is a friend and who is a foe. Hillary is no friend of Israel. She will continue Obama’s policies, including the Iran deal and excusing terrorists.* |

@ bernard ross:
I AGREE
it should be a no brainer for Jews to choose between Hillary and Trump but also between the democratic party and Trump. The democratic party is increasingly the home of the leftist muslim alliance who attack jewish children daily in schools and universities….. those anti semites attacking Jews are not voters of the GOP party, everyone knows that, they are all voters of the democratic party. the democratic party is the party that has been allowing this increased anti semitism against children in state and federally financed schools and universities…. duh???? The jews remaining in that party are the used as “useful idiots”. there can be no doubt that a democratic victory will only increase the same anti semitism that their leftist and muslim constituents have facilitated thus far….. duh, again.
Jews with dilemmas on this issue are unaware of the existential dangers to Jews from the leftist muslim alliance….. they equate principles and philosophies with survival…. they dont even know there is a threat………. The massive increase in anti semitism comes from leftists and muslims and NOT the far right or neo nazis. Jews voting the democratic party must not whine when their children are later attacked in schools and universities.
