Fence to be completed by next year

Was the fence construction really stopped for financial reasons or was it for political reasons. Is the restart of construction because we have the money or because we perceive threats in the future or because we want to include Gush Etzion and Maaleh Adumin west of the fence. If the latter, has Bibi made a deal with Obama in which Obama tacitly accepts that these settlements will be in Israel, in exchange for Israel not building east of the fence. Am I wrong to think a deal has been cut? Ted Belman

The head of Israel’s administration for building the wall Ofer Hindi telling Israel’s Supreme Court on Thursday that construction on the barrier would resume around Gush Etzion in the coming weeks.

Construction of the barrier around Maale Adumim will resume in 2013.
The resumption of construction comes after a a five-year freeze due to budget constraints.

Fatah Central Committee member Amal Hamad on Friday charged that Israel’s decision to resume construction of its security barrier in Judea and Samaria is intended to “judaize” Jerusalem.

Hamad said the move was Israel’s “most dangerous action” since it “occupied” Judea, Samaria and Gaza during the 1967 Six Day War.
“The role of the apartheid wall around Jerusalem is to facilitate the annexation of settlement blocs” Hamad said in a statement.

I don’t see any changes do you?

What could BB do on his own, given the coalitions with various interests he is leading, the opposing party and the international situations?

So he said it for mostly domestic political considerations. On the ground has anything changed? Has he altered a millimeter away from Obama and Americas dictate? I don’t see any changes do you?

Show me an example of where BB has bucked the Obama and American dictate?

According to Telegraph dot com “Mr Netanyahu told Mr Obama that to suggest a return to Israel’s pre-1967 borders did not “take into account certain changes that have taken place” in the intervening 44 years.
During the frosty public show, the Israeli premier told the US president that any peace deal “based on illusion will crash on the rocks of Middle East reality”. Israel, he insisted, “can’t go back to the 1967 lines”.
Mr Netanyahu also warned that Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian president, would have to choose between a new unity pact with the militant group Hamas or peace with Israel.”

Israels aligning herself with and under America has many more negatives for us than positives. It is not a match made in Heaven.

There is a difference between talking the talk and walking the walk.

BB the American and Obama Puppet, would never dare do anything without first receiving the approval of UNCLE LABAN!!

BB was very much admired by many Americans and others for his boldness and courage during his visit to the White House. BHO does not like him at all. What makes you to say “BB the American and Obama puppet?”
