One day, President Obama “forcefully” supports the planned Ground Zero mosque, and the next day he backs off, straddling the fence. Well, that’s a definite maybe; he’s a regular push-me-pull-you of politics.
After skirting the controversy for weeks, President Barack Obama is weighing in forcefully on the mosque near ground zero, saying a nation built on religious freedom must allow it. …
“That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances,” he said. “This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable.” …
… “I was not commenting and I will not comment on the wisdom of making the decision to put a mosque there,” Obama said. “I was commenting very specifically on the right people have that dates back to our founding. That’s what our country is about.” …

Palin first spoke out against the mosque weeks ago.
I don’t think so.
Yamit, you are wrong.
Palin first came out against the mosque on JUly 20th. Gingrich came latter as did everybody else of note.
What have we learned from this president in addition to being incompetent.
Beginning with the incident in New England, the professor and the cop, he spoke like a true idiot.
Away from the teleprompter he is a black Forrest Gump.
Muslims spews out of his mouth and then we have back pedaling.
He is by no means a leader.
We are no doubt safer when he is on vacation.
G-d/God I hope the Israeli government hasn’t put to much faith in what this president says or commits to. He cannot be trusted.
Listen a majority of Americans support Israel however we are not in charge, Forrest Gump is.
G-d/God save us.
Doesn’t matter. She was, apparently, the only one (political person) who said it bluntly enough that he listened.
So did Gingrich and a slew of other notables and less than public figures. Don’t give Palin all the credit she jumped on the bandwagon kinda of late. Her stand seems to be politically motivated more than principled.
After his embrace, Palin called him out on it and then he acked off.
