“However, in this unfolding American drama, Republicans, blindfolded by implacable hostility toward Obama’s agenda, which they do not fully understand, are preoccupied with tactics trying to capitalize on individual crises and have failed thus far to make intellectual adjustments and develop a coherent operating strategy to stop America’s descent into socialism.”
I disagree with the part that I have highlighted.
The Republicans are not blinded by his agenda so much as they are in agreement with it. Conservatives disagree with it but are not blinded by it. Ted Belman

The election of Barack Obama in 2008 manifested the arrival of a new world, economically and politically. The reelection of the president in 2012 confirmed that the threat of socialism has become a dark reality in the United States of America. The Republican Party and the public at large suffer from lack of knowledge and appear to be in denial about the social and political tsunami that is already beginning to engulf them.
The Republicans must be mindful that Marxists do not relinquish power voluntarily, as Lenin proclaimed after the victory of the October revolution: “We are taking power, and we are taking it for a long time.” Although Lenin did not say “forever,” it still took the collapse of socialism in the Soviet Union to force the Bolsheviks’ descendants out of power. In recognition of this historical premise and the “copycat” approach employed thus far by this president, we should not expect Obama to leave the presidency quietly.
If in 2008 Obama sought power to make “fundamental change”, in 2016 he will seek “fundamental change” to keep the power.
Obama will make a determined effort to come up with an arrangement that will ensure his access to power and policy making after the 2016 election, should the Democrats win. Most political observers believe it is a forgone conclusion that Hillary Clinton, with the support of Barack Obama, has affectively secured her nomination.
However, as with many instances in the political process, what is perceived as obvious and assured at the time only exposes the limitations of human foresight. There is no evidence that Obama ever considered Hillary to be his successor. If that were the case, he would have asked her to be his running mate in 2008 or 2012. The vice presidency offers a high-visibility, low-risk reward, and the vice president is seen as a natural successor to the sitting president. Instead, Hillary received the high-risk position of secretary of state, a post that can be easily undermined by the president and, for a person as inexperienced in foreign affairs as Hillary was, carries a host of potential liabilities. Assigned to a position of responsibility and authority above the level of her competence, she was effectively programmed to fail. And she did not disappoint her master.
Although during her tenure she schlepped almost the entire world, visiting 112 countries and running up a million frequent-flyer miles, she has nothing to show for it. The infamous, childish “reset button” with the Russians, which Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov most likely dumped in the first trash can he came to; the Benghazi disaster; the series of political calamities in the Middle East culminating in the all but complete collapse of the US’s international position – hardly a track record to be proud of. Being an unaccomplished secretary of state makes her extremely vulnerable to challenges within her own party, not to mention those from Republican opponents.
The Clintons obviously are not aware of the Marxist motto “A forgiven enemy never becomes your friend.” There is no doubt that the Obama camp has compiled a sizeable file of incriminating information about Hillary, and the revelations coming to light during the 2016 election campaign will be devastating. Probably the most devastating is the Benghazi tragedy.
Benghazi is Hillarie’s Chappaquiddick. Just like Senator Edward Kennedy, who cowardly fled the scene of an accident he caused and failed to organize a rescue that might have saved Mary Jo Kopechne’s life, which consequently cost him the White House, Hillary left the Benghazi consulate unprotected and cowardly failed to provide rescue during the attack that cost four American lives, also ruining her chances for the presidency.
As Chappaquiddick was for Kennedy, Benghazi is a gruesome testament of another liberal Democrat’s lack of character, integrity, competence and leadership. After Hillary is taken out of the race and another challenger, Joe Biden, self-destructs, then who?
There is no one else in the Democratic universe that has Barack Obama’s stature and Marxist theoretical acumen to lead the country through the transition to the socialist paradise. Therefore, power of reasoning and political logic indicate that the easiest and most reliable approach is for Michelle Obama to run. The self-assured, energetic, articulate and unmistakably ambitious first lady will be a formidable opponent to any Republican nominee. Her qualifications are just as “solid” as Hillary’s when she ran in 2008. Both women are lawyers and wives of former (or to-be former) presidents. The Democrats will be ecstatic about Michelle, who will not only ensure the transition to socialism, she will also be the first woman president, and she is black. But above all, she is an Obama!!! Who could be a better candidate for the Democratic Party? Why would the Democrats buy a generic when they can have the brand? Michelle will enjoy the support of Obama’s army of Democrats, augmented by the even greater number of those who enjoy representation without taxation, plus more women and feminists.
To counter this daunting challenge, Republicans must understand this fact of historical record: socialism cannot be defeated; it self-destructs.
Therefore, to defeat Obama can only Obama if the Republicans just let him do it. But the Republicans, intoxicated by their 2010 victory, have been drifting down a path of political miscalculation. Too often they have chosen the Alamo-like strategy of standing on principle and being destroyed instead of the better suited, given the political landscape, ancient Greek strategy of “Live to fight another day.” In the case of the president, they do not have to wait too long. As a result of Keynesian economics, the economy is struggling and there is no light at the end of this tunnel, the deficit is going to the stratosphere, “affordable” health care is having a rendezvous with disaster, and Obama’s international stature has never been lower.
After five years of Obama’s relentless lying to the American people to cover up the administration’s offenses and misconducts, the truth finally caught up with Barack Obama. By consistently and profoundly violating the trust of the American people, deceiving them about the benefits of Obamacare, the president exposed himself and effectively destroyed his credibility. Obamacare was “the straw that broke the camel’s back.”
With his credibility shattered, he is no longer innocent until proven guilty; he is now “guilty until proven innocent.” Hence, there is no need to spend energy and resources in searching for evidence of wrongdoing by the president and his administration; the cover-ups and inadequate responses to congressional inquiries are the evidence. Republicans just have to let this drama play itself out, adopting Napoleon’s credo, “Never interfere with an enemy while he’s in the process of destroying himself.”
The administration and the Democratic Congress provide Republicans with ample opportunity for the upcoming election if the Republicans choose to fight on philosophical ground. However, in this unfolding American drama, Republicans, blindfolded by implacable hostility toward Obama’s agenda, which they do not fully understand, are preoccupied with tactics trying to capitalize on individual crises and have failed thus far to make intellectual adjustments and develop a coherent operating strategy to stop America’s descent into socialism. As Lord Salisbury stated, “The commonest error in politics is sticking to the carcass of dead policies.”

The republicans are so stupid and narrowly focused on non problems and solutions they have become mostly irrelevant as a political force to be taken seriously by any thinking American. If as you predict “The Republic will become history” becomes a self fulfilling prophesy, most of the blame cn be laid on the Republican party and their supporters.
A new third political party is needed to do what seems impossible for Republicans who stand mostly to protect the 1% of America. There needs to be a party that is not in the same camp as the 1%.
Bowe Bergdahl Is the Right’s New Benghazi
It does seem the Republicans are complicit despite some anti Obama rhetoric of being complicit and even benignly supporting Obama’s agendas.
More stealth amnesty.
Obama To Spend $2.3 Billion Reuniting Nearly 200K Illegal Immigrant Youths Flooding The Border With Their Illegal Immigrant Parents In US…
The Republicans have nothing to offer yet besides criticizing Obama. They do not even have a comprehensive healthcare bill to replace Ocare. If they continue that way, forget 2016 presidency.
Excellent analysis! An imagined Michelle presidency will mean a third term for Obama himself and a Hillary presidency will be Billy-the-kid-Clinton’s third term in the WH. Pick your choice. In both cases the “transformation” will continue until the last remains of the Republic will become history.
