Fifty years is optimistic at best. The deception began probably in the early 20th century when refugees from the Frankfurt School in Germany, a Communist think tank, began pouring into our country and academic institutions. But, I use the late 60s, early 70s, as the genesis of the takeover of the Democrat Party.
Liberals and Socialist wannabees decided early that we needed to scare people into Communism. A sort of Better Red Than Dead approach. What better way to alarm people into giving up their rights, money, and freedom than to tell them they are all going to die unless we put our survival into their hands…yada, yada, yada.

Is the climate changing? Of course, the climate is always changing. But please, don’t say it too loud. A voter might hear it.
Antarctica was not always an ice sheet. In a number of periods in its distant past it had a moderate and temperate climate, and was covered in forests -National Geographic. If that isn’t climate change, I don’t know what is. We learned in history, at least some of us did, that George Washington’s men suffered terribly during the winter at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. That’s because during the years between 1300 and 1850 we had a mini ice age. The period between 1940 and 1975 saw the ‘Little Cooling.’ When that was over a moderate warming developed. This warming has turned into a war cry. What the Al Gores out there do not understand is that this is by no means the first warming of the planet. Millennia ago temperatures had been higher than they are today. Who or what should we blame for all this continuous climate change?
To Al Gore’s disappointment, many scientists, including Gore’s climate ally, Professor James Hansen, have recently conceded that the sun’s radiation patterns are responsible for temperature change, not CO2 levels. Nevertheless, the climate bandwagon rolls on. Al Gore and others rake in the cash, still maintaining that cow farts, airplanes (except private jets), automobiles and modern civilization in general need to be eliminated.

The climate fanatics should really arrest and detain the nearest volcano. The earth farts all the time, producing ash, volcanic gases, carbon dioxide, and sulfur dioxide, changing weather patterns and climate. Considering all the massive volcanic eruptions in history and antiquity, the earth is doing just fine, thank you.
If climate change and pollution, because of breathing and industrialization, were the drama, they would be all over China, Mongolia, Botswana, Russia, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, India, Egypt, Pakistan, Iran, Kuwait, and the UAE. They account for most of the man-made pollution in the world. No, they are coming for us, the most successful Constitutional Republic in history, and, might I add, Western Civilization, not to build us up, but to tear us down.
The story is not about the climate changing and we as a capitalist, freedom-loving, Constitutional Republic are at fault. It’s about the politics, the power grabbing, the control of vast populations…the social engineering and all the lies and deceit that go with it. That is the real story.

On December 13, 2007 an open letter was sent to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, signed by 100 prominent scientists. It reads:

I wonder if they teach that in school.
Contrary to what some lying politicians and educators may say, this is no where near settled science. Other scientists that hang on to the deception, merely hang on to their funding. In this rabid political climate, it is professional suicide to disagree with the political and social charlatans.
This climate change hoax will, no doubt, prove to be one of the greatest swindles in scientific and political history. This is a global power grab on a massive scale. The zombies may blindly follow, but we’re not going for it.

My bottom line is this: There can be no truth out of these people. They are tied in with the system and it IS the system of capitalism and that must be said in a scientific way too. They are liars. i just looked again at paragraph 2 above. What is this Frankfurt “School” so called? There is an answer to this question and I have not got it on hand, but for this guy he constructs a whole conspiracy, reds under the bed, situation. Knowledge no problem for him. It is not learning coming from these types of people. But they construct a conspiracy out of this today, it can or WILL be the Jews tomorrow. It is a method. I am very much on the side of the Jews in all situations and the history of the Jews is always with me, and I do not say that glibly, but there is a way to tackle this issue of global warming, and it is not antagonistic. Everything this man has written is false. For example somewhere he is talking about this warming period and this is new to me. in fact as I said we are in an ice period, or should be, that is why we have the poles iced over. So we are technically in an ice age. But there is a rapid warming today. That is why there is a melting of the poles.

they may not in general have deep knowledge but sometimes instinct can be very correct. I think that is what is happening.
Finally it is not a case of two sides, but rather is a case of what the scientists have found out, and if the science is not fake i will grant you that. But the very nature of scientific method tends to militate against fraud.
I mean Charles Darwin took hundreds of thousands of specimens on his trip with Fitzroy. He then refused to publish he was so worried about what his evidence was telling him. Finally he had to take the plunge when Wallace appeared.
Ted i understand what you are saying there but and it is a big but the author of the piece makes many many claims, and even scientific sounding statements, but I knew at once he is an ignorant fraud, because he never once sourced a single claim.
His ignorance is legend Ted and that is the hard truth. So many falsities.
For instance he talks about there being always a climate, and it was always changing. Yes there cannot be matter without change. It is THE intrinsic quality of matter.
And there was not really much you could call “climate” 4 billion years ago. It was only when the earth cooled down a little that you say there was a climate as we know the word.
And he says the Antarctic was once warm with vegetation growing. True but he does not say that once there was no Antarctic at all. It had to form as a result of plate tectonics.
These types are complete ignorami. I bet if i google this person he is not a climate scientist.
They have no learning in the subject. My point though is that climate science has a long history. And it is verifiable. I could not verify one thing this person says…no sources at all.
They are “chancers” and driven mainly by conspiracy theory of one type or another.

Rather than repeating your mantra, why not challenge our facts or reasoning to discredit our arguments.
The science of Global Warming is totally sound. The science is extensive and has a long history going back centuries. Science has been aware of and has been watching this issue for a long time.
Marx and Engels had to defend science against these frauds when they both sought to highlight the validity of Charles Darwin and Evolution.. Lenin had to fight against the phenomenalism (only sensations are real) of Ernst Mach. The struggles of Leon Trotsky against the crimes of the subjective thinking of Stalin. What is new? Periods like this, periods of deep crisis, throw up all kinds of cranks.
It is the task of Marxism in conjunction with science to provide the answers to the problems of the world.
Greta has merely identified the problem of global warming and by very effective means publicised it. She has never claimed to provide an answer. Greta has depended upon the science and is in alliance with the science.

Di Lorenzo, It’s not a communist plot you moron. 45 years ago, scientists working for giant oil companies did the math and announced that if the world kept on burning fossil fuels for energy the world would heat up. Shortly after, the oil companies put a damper on this information. But it is there and it will be used to sue oil companies for knowingly selling a product that damages the world and people’s lives. Remember what happened to the cigarette companies? Well the same thing will happen to the oil companies but it might be too late.

Some climate scientists say another major cooling is likely soon. Their claims are not outlandish.
